Dark Paladin
Friday

Twilight Rose Knight, a cute, bold little Warrior who is Dark attributed and Level 3 with matching attack and defense stats of 1000 who also happens to be a Tuner.

Now, she doesn't protect herself, but she stops your opponent from attacking your Plants and she allows you to Special Summon a Plant-type monster from your Hand who is Level 4 or lower, which is great.

Honestly, Twilight Rose Knight's biggest downfall isn't even her low attack and defense stats, it's her not being a Plant...then she could protect herself, but I might run one, or at least side one if I were playing Plants.

General Zorpa Twilight Rose Knight

Here we have a level 3 DARK Warrior Tuner with 1000 ATK and DEF. The stats are ok, he can be searched out, but that is not really relevant, as you would only ever use this card in a totally Plant based deck.

Your opponent cannot select a Plant type monster as an attack target while he is on the field. You can use DNA Surgery in order to make him a Plant so that he can protect himself, but such a move is hardly recommendable. Most of the time this effect will be of little consequence other than to protect Queen of Thorns or Tytannial from an attack.

Where he shines the most is with his Marauding Captainesque effect. When you Normal Summoned you can Special Summon a level 4 Plant monster from your hand. This is really useful for going aggro with Cactus Fighter, Gigantic Cephalotus or Botanical Lion. It is also really amazing for Synchroing up Dark Strike Fighter and Black Rose Dragon.

As Plants could really use some aggressive Special Summoning as well as good access to Synchros, this card is a great addition to their ranks.

Twilight Rose Knight ...

I was gonna lead off with - "here's an interesting little monster...", but truth be told - she's not all THAT interesting ... but she's still fairly good. TRK is a 3 Star Dark Warrior - all 3 things that are excellent. But as her attack - 1000 - is fairly weak, we ask if her effect then makes up for it ... for 1 thing, she's also a Tuner that adds for major kudos right there. But then - her 1st effect protects all Plant type monsters from attack. That's all u need to read to know that she belongs in a plant deck. But when u get to her 2nd effect of being able to special summon a 4 star or lower plant type monster from your hand, u see just how much she can OFFER that deck!

Right off the bat, let me say that it actually really annoys me when monsters serve as support and aid for other monster types that don't include them (yes, i'm looking at YOU Pandemonium Watchbear!) Thus, u should note that TRK's effect will do nothing to enhance her own well being ... But ... she's a Tuner, so It's fairly obvious that she is built for a quick Synchro summon and nothing more. Drop a 4 star and u have enough fuel for Black Rose Dragon. Dueling 101.

Twilight Rose is kinda in the same category with Debris Dragon ... although much much better.
I'm .... gonna vote "yes" on this one!

Twilight Rose Knight, a card I couldn't wait for when I was running Plants. While its on the field, Plant-Type monsters cant be selected as an attack target and when its normal summoned, it can special summon a level 4 or lower plant monster from the hand. Cards like Lonefire Blossom and Lord Poison work really well here with his effect, seeing as how Twilight Rose Knight is a tuner monster too. Being a warrior its also searchable with Reinforcement of the Army, though Reinforcement of the Army is at 1 now.

The card has some weaknesses too, since its effect activates when its normal summoned its vulnerable to cards like Pulling the Rug and other cards like Divine Wrath. Its also only got 1000 attack and 1000 defense, which means its easy to run over when it comes to decks like Gladiator Beasts and Blackwings.

I believe this card is needed in just about any plant based deck, but there are some potential dangers when its played and used as I said with Pulling the Rug and Divine Wrath. Make sure you have plenty of ways to protect it if you dont use it to Synchro Summon when you play it

I would suggest using 1 to 2 copy's for the deck.
