Wednesday - Magician of Faith

Great card. Complete versatility.

For those of you who for some reason don't know, Magician of Faith reads: FLIP: Select 1 Magic Card from your Graveyard and return it to your hand.

Magician of Faith is better than Mask of Darkness for the fact that alot of cards on the restricted list are Magic Cards. My favorite Magic Cards to pull back from my Graveyard with Magician of Faith are Pot of Greed and Swords of Revealing Light.

Swords of Revealing Light because, being able to stall for a maximum of 15 turns (Won't happen often) is completely insane.

Pot of Greed is great to be pulled back via MoF to increase the number of options in your hand over and over. The more options means the better you can deal with your opponent's cards.

MoF's stats are pretty pathetic, but it's Effect more than makes up for it. There is always the chance that MoF will be flipped by your opponent's attack while you don't have any Magic Cards in your Graveyard. Thats just something that may happen sometimes, but nothing to worry too much about.

Rating: 4.8/5

Wed- Magician of Faith

This card is the best thing since sliced bread. :O

Magician of Faith has bad stats; let’s not go there. However, upon flippage, you get your every own magic card from the graveyard. YaY!

With this card, you could give yourself 7 Change of Hearts (use the CoH on THEIR MoF) or stall for 18 turns with Swords of Revealing Light (again, a CoH on their MoF). You could also get massive draw power by drawing a Pot of Greed early on or powerful monster removal with Raigeki.

It’s too bad Upperdeck will restrict it. ;-; It is already restricted in Japan, we will just have to wait. =P

Magician of Faith is quite the card, useful only by Magics you draw early on. Still, it is a great card. :O

Rating: 4.7/5 I said it is great. XO

Today we look at a definite deck staple, Magician of Faith.

Card Text:
Light/Spellcaster/1/300/400
Effect: FLIP: Select 1 Magic Card from your Graveyard and return it to your hand.

Analysis:
What analysis is needed for this card?  It's pretty self-explanatory.  Crap stats, awesome effect.  Ever wanted to use a restricted card more than once?  This is your gal.  Bring back Monster Reborn, Raigeki, Change of Heart, or (my favorite) Pot of Greed, among others.  Only problem is it's a flip effect.  Flip effects are easily countered =(

Combos:
Magician of Faith + Big Eye + Pot of Greed = Pick what cards you get to draw.  If you pull Pot of Greed from Big Eye, use it, THEN use MoF to bring it back, you just drew all 5 of those cards!

Counters:
Dark Hole/Raigeki/Man-Eater Bug: Before you can even flip it.

Change of Heart: They get to use the effect! =(

Should YOU play it?
Play 3.  2 if you feel comfortable.  No less.

Score:
This gal gets a 4.6.  Her effect is awesome, but she has crap stats and can be countered.  If there were less counters, she'd get a 5 instantly.
