From: Paula Wenger DDS: A very simple game. The basics are: Defeat each of the players on each of the levels 5 times. THe more you defeat, the better your deck will get. After you defeat DarkNite, enter the code he gives you, and you will be able to play Yami Yugi. You start out with a simple deck to match the ones in Tomino Town One. If you start out battling Tristan, some of my favorite cards are Frog the Jam and Cyber-Stein. Once you start racking up victories, you can expand your deck. Here's how the deck works. You have a Deck Capacity, how powerful of cards you can have. The more "cost" a card has (you can look it up in your "handy" index of cards) the more deck capacity you will take up. Also, If your duelist level isn't equal or more than the cost of a card, you cannot use it, no matter what. For each battle you do, you get 5 extra points of deck capacity. For each link battle that you lose, you get 10 extra, and for each link battle you win, you get 20. For every battle that you win, link or normal, you gain 1 duelist level. It takes a long time to get up to the point where you can use Relinquished, B. Luster Soldier, and the like. All "Devine" class card have a deck cost of 255. Pros: Fusion and Ritual monsters can be summoned as Tribute monsters. (Two tributes and my B. Skull is out, yay!) Not a whole lot else. Pros/Cons: To clarify, these are things that can work for or against you. One thing that's both saved my butt and MAIJORLY annoyed me is the weakness: one type succoming to another type, regardless of ATK and DEF Here's a chart to simplify it: KEY: A>B A would destroy B, regardless of stats. EARTH Circle: Fire>Forest>Wind>Earth>Thunder>Water>Fire SPIRIT Circle: Shadow>Light>Feind>Dreams>Shadow Divine have no weakness. Cons: The really, REALLY BIG con is the card dex. You have to sift through 10,000 spots, some empty, some full, to find one card. It is really annoying. Another thing I hate is the Password Mode. It's all right when you really want a certain card, but some cards from BEWD, MRD, and MRL don't work, and most PSV don't. In a nutshell, I think you'd be better off with Dungeon Dice Monsters or Eternal Duelist Soul. Only get this game as a last resort.
