Combat Ensues with Konami Digital Entertainment Inc.’s

Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s TRADING CARD GAME Raging Battle Booster Set

Raging Battle Designed to Counter Most Tournament Decks & Strategies

El Segundo, CA – (May 12, 2009) – The latest booster set for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG), Raging Battle, from global TCG powerhouse Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) might be the most lethal collection to hit the scene in some time.  The Raging Battle booster set, available at hobby and mass market stores today, includes 10 World Premiere cards and 10 Bonus Cards never-before-seen in North America!

Raging Battle (MSRP $3.99 per nine-card pack) picks up where Crimson Crisis left off, with all-new Synchro monsters, spells, and trap cards.  Behold the unstoppable strength of the Dark Signers’ Earthbound Immortal monsters – available for the first time in Raging Battle! Amaze your friends and foes with the new Koa’ki Meiru, specifically designed to defeat the most popular deck strategies used at tournaments. PLUS: More Blackwing monsters to swarm your opponent! More Morphtronics! New Synchro Monsters! New Tuners! And more new cards used by your favorite characters on TV!

“Duelists first witnessed the awesome power of Raging Battle at local hobby stores that participated in the KDE Sneak Peek event on May 2nd and 3rd,” noted Kevin Tewart, Senior Research & Development Manager for Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.  “Raging Battle’s Koa’ki Meiru and the Earthbound Immortal cards will have Duelists scratching their heads to design new Decks and solve matchup problems created by this new booster set.  Each pack contains at least one Rare Card with a chance for more!”
