Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Shows Its Power

with the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s TRADING CARD GAME

Stardust Overdrive Special Edition

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – (December 15, 2009) – New, powerful cards make the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) Stardust Overdrive Special Edition highly desirable for players craving to create a potent Deck. From Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s TCG Stardust Overdrive Special Edition includes three Stardust Overdrive Booster Packs and one of two Super Rare variant cards, and is available at all hobby and retail stores nationwide for $9.99.

Duelists everywhere can finally amp-up their Decks with the addition of two reprints of the previously hard-to-find cards “Charge of the Light Brigade” and “Tempest Magician”!  “Charge of the Light Brigade” was originally released as a TCG World Premier card in The Duelist Genesis and is the cornerstone of every Lightsworn and Twilight Deck – two of the top Decks in the current competitive tournament scene!  Its unparalleled power lets Duelists search their Deck for any low-level Lightsworn monster while furthering their overall strategy.  The other variant card is the powerful Synchro monster “Tempest Magician, which first wowed players when it appeared in Crossroads of Chaos. Its ability to use Spell Counters to inflict damage to the opponent is a perfect complement to Stardust Overdrive’s Spell Counter-creating Ultra Rare card, “Crusader of Endymion.”

In addition, Stardust Overdrive features monsters from all three of the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series including ”Guardian Eatos” from the classic series and “Clear Vice Dragon” from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Stardust Overdrive features many monsters from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s including “Majestic Star Dragon,” the new upgraded form of Yusei Fudo’s “Stardust Dragon.”

The Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s animated series can be seen in the United States Monday through Saturday on Cartoon Network.  The original Yu-Gi-Oh! animated series can be seen Saturday mornings on TheCW4Kids block. For more information on Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc., the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME or the Stardust Overdrive Special Edition product, please visit www.yugioh-card.com or call 310-220-8630.
