Thursday, January 26, 2006  Our buddy Wicked started up a Magic Journal on the Magic The Gathering site.  Wicked's a newbie to MTG, so if you want jump into a new game, or already know MTG, feel free to read his new column.

A USB YuGiOh DuelPass Key?  "The USB Duelpass Key is a dongle that pops into any PC's USB port. Once connected, players are immediately sent to the Yu-Gi-Oh Online site for login. Each Duelpass Key costs 9.99, and will enable players to play 90 card duels over the Yu-Gi-Oh Online software downloaded to the PC. Each Duelpass Key also includes three virtual cards that can be added to the player's online deck attached to his username." - more on the story from IGN

Suspect trades for a jail cell":  "Like the Pokemon craze before it, the made-in-Japan Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game has become a worldwide phenomenon. Rare single cards can fetch prices nearing $100 in eBay auctions as players seek superpowerful monsters or strong magic to make their decks invulnerable. An invisibility card would have been just the ticket for a Snellville man accused of burglarizing a Lilburn comic book and game store early Wednesday. Lilburn police responding to an alarm about 3:30 a.m. found Robert Jarreau Mahone III, 18, inside the Odin's Cosmic Bookshelf store.  The store's front window was shattered.  Mahone allegedly was holding a trash bag containing nothing but Yu-Gi-Oh! items, including two boxes of trading cards and deck protectors for them."  more
