This tourney was nasty, lots of really good players

Round 1
Versus Brandon Morris

Match 1:
He has a beatdown deck I think, but never got a chance to use Yata or Jinzo.  I managed to bring out Necrofear quick, and back it up with Ha Des.  Unfortunately, I ran right into a Mirror Force.  A reborn of my Necrofear, equipped by Axe of Despair was "Snatched" and he hammered me with my Necro and 2 GAF's for the win.

Match 2:
I got my footing back this time, bringing out Garzett from La Jinn, equipping it with UWS and FMC and blasted his forces away.

Match 3:
Couldn't get anything going.  He got Jinzo out there, but I CoH on it and brought out Garzett.  Garzett then got Snatched and used with GAF equipped with UWS.  Ouch.

Round 2:
Versus Kyle Derrick

Match 1:
In the loser's bracket, I got absolutely torched this time.  Kycoo and Spear Dragon hammered away my weak defenses.

Match 2:
I liked this one.  I had a THW and two monsters face down.   He had a Spear Dragon and a monster facedown.  I CoH his facedown monster, revealing Man-Eater Bug.  I flipped it, cooking his monster, flipped Iron Blacksmith Kotetsu (sidedeck) and pulled UWS, flipped Magician of Faith returning Monster Reborn and used it on his Jinzo, equipped it with UWS and blasted him for 9500.  Ouch.

Got Jinzoed into the ground, couldn't take notes cause it was over too fast.

Versus Matt Kelton (Fiend deck)

Match 1:
He Ha Desed me, but a well-placed Magic Cylinder got him.  However, a next turn Raigeki plus Harpies Feather Duster plus Jinzo finished me off good.

Lather, Rinse, Repeat :(
Another quick ending at the hands of a Ha Des and GAF.

Round 4:
Versus Tom Pearson (Beatdown)

Match 1:
Tom is one of my friends, so I know his deck in and out.  Doesn't make things any easier though.  An opening line of Gagagigo and Nin-Ken Dog equipped with Nuzzler quickly took down my poor hand.   This was embarrassing.

Match 2:
Finally.  Another use of United We Stand on a THW, followed up by a nasty 6000 atk Maju Garzett (Blue-Eyes CoH).  That hurt.

Match 3:
UWS weenie-rush.  THW, MEB, MoF, MoD, and IBK all out there with THW with UWS and FMC.  Ended fast.

Round 5:
Versus Payton Lane (Deck Destruction)

Match 1:
He pulls out Delinquent Duo, Forceful Sentry, and Confiscation first turn.  Then he exchanges for my 2nd Garzett (I took his Kycoo).  He offered GAF for Garzett and equipped it with UWS with 2 spirit reapers out there.  And ran right into a Magic Cylinder.  End.

Match 2:
Ended in 2 minutes tops.  La Jinn, GMG.  Raigeki.  Gryphon Wing (Sidedeck) against his HFD.  Garzett and Necrofear attack twice.  Win.

Round 6 (Final Round)
Versus Nick Plasey (Weenie-Rush)



Match 1:

Brought some serious firepower.  THW.  Ha Des.  Necrofear.  GMG at 3600 atk.  UWS on GMG.  But I got Gravity Bound.  Finally, he drew Raigeki, used it.  Summoned Hayabusa equipped with Axe of Despair and tore me a new one.

Match 2:
Once again I got my heavy hitters out, but he managed to Gravity Bind me again and start hacking away with Leogul and Jinzo #7.  I finally used Mask of Darkness with Axe of Despair, but got Mirror Forced.  Finally he summoned Jinzo and attacks for the win.

Finished in 56th place, got a pack of Pharaoh's Servant.  

Props:
For winning 2 matches
For getting some good cards.  I traded by Guardian Sphinx and Barrel Behind the Door for a Mask of Restrict and Berserk Dragon combo.  Then I traded Destiny Board and pieces for Dark Master - Zorc.  Got Final Countdown, Relinquished and ritual for Zorc from a friend. 
For my opponents for being good sportsmen.
For finishing ahead of my friends I brought (Tom finished 66th, Jeremy finished 67th.)

Slops:
For losing 4 matches
All those parents who spent $2000+ on expensive cards.
For not selling individual cards at RDG.
No money, no pizza next door between matches :(
