Okay, time to get to business. I went with my friend Robbie, who was bringing one of his extra decks (Gravity Bind, to be exact) as sort of a challenge. I let him boost his deck with some of my extra cards. As for myself, I have recently experienced problems as to what card to add into this one slot. First I tried Painful Choice, then DDuo, and some other stuff, but nothing worked. DDuo is in my deck anyway, but I took something else out for it. By the way, the tourney format was single elimination bracket, single duel each round, JPN cards were allowed as long as they were already out in English, and time limit for each round was 10 minutes. Here is my deck.

Monsters (17)

3 Gemini Elf
2 Spear Dragon
2 Goblin Attack Force
1 Jinzo
1 Witch of the Black Forest
1 Airknight Parshath
1 Exiled Force
1 Cyber Jar
1 Fiber Jar
1 Yata-Garasu
1 Kycoo the Ghost Destroyer
1 Bazoo the Soul-Eater
1 Sinister Serpent

Magic (17)

1 Raigeki
1 Harpie's Feather Duster
1 Pot of Greed
1 Monster Reborn
1 Dark Hole
1 Change of Heart
1 Delinquent Duo
3 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Mirage of NIghtmare (my secret weapon)
1 Premature Burial
1 Snatch Steal
1 Graceful Charity
1 Heavy Storm
1 Swords of Revealing Light
1 Nobleman of Crossout

Traps (6)

1 Torrential Tribute
1 Call of the Haunted
1 Imperial Order
1 Mirror Force
1 Waboku
1 Ring of Destruction

All right, let's go to the tourney. Well, I actually dueled a kid before it started. He was some dude with a visor and a mediocre deck. I think these are the life totals. Keep in mind that the totals I give may not always be correct.

Duel 1
Me v. Random
He only lasted so long because of that stupid Solemn Wishes. Late in the duel, he used The Shallow Grave and I revived my Airknight (score!).
Me 8000
Random 8000>6900>7400<7900>6000<6500>4600<5100>0

Duel 2
Me v. Another Random
Okay, I lied, there was another free duel before the tourney. I don't remember this one at all, though.
Me 8000>7500>7100
Another Random 8000>7700>6700>3300<4300>900<1900>0

Okay, this is when the actual tourney started. It was taking place at one table, and the rest of the tables were having the typical Toys R Us open format. Anyway, the moron who was doing the pairings made me face Tom (the Toys R Us employee who runs the thing) in the first round. Lucky for me, he was only using his Toon deck. He normally uses a surprisingly good 46-card Exodia deck, but he told me he wasn't in it to win. I was. Advantage: Me.

Tourney Duel 1
Me v. Tom
He goes first, sets a monster in defence. I summon Goblins, use Crossout, attack for 2300, set Waboku, end. He summons something and attacks, I activate Waboku. Next turn, I offer Goblins for Airknight, and the rest is history. (Note: Whenever I say "...and the rest is history..." or something like that, it usually means I didn't remember anything else.)
Me 8000>7900
Tom 8000>5700>2700>0

Tourney Duel 2
Me v. Jim
This guy was really lazy in getting this duel started, but he went down pretty fast. My only damage was from my own Premature.
Me 8000>7200
Jim 8000>6100>400>0

Tourney Duel 3
Me v. Zero
A Hispanic guy who was twice my age and half my height... and named Zero... Well, he gave me a good fight, but nothing a little crazygonuts card-drawing with Mirage couldn't fix. He used DDuo when I only had one card in my hand. Tsk, tsk...
Me 8000>7000>4600
Zero 8000>7000>5200>4400>3600>2900>0

Tourney Duel 4
Me v. Davis (I will from now on refer to this guy as Chump Change.)
I absolutely had to beat this guy's pompous ass (pardon my French) because he beat Robbie in the previous round (with Bad Reaction to Simochi+Eye of Truth, no less). He pulled the same moronic combo on me in this duel as well. Oddly enough, he did more damage to me than anyone else did that day. Oops, actually some dumb random got me even lower than you did, sorry Chump Change.
Me 8000>6300>5300>4300
Chump Change 8000>6300>3600>1700>0

Tourney Duel 5
Me v. Joe C. (the moron doing the pairings)
All right, another chance for me to avenge a wrong. Once again, the only damage I took was from Premature Burial.
Me 8000>7200
Joe C. 8000>2500>2000>0

So I won the DDM starter. I played it with Robbie at home, and we found out that it's a terrible game. On the plus side, I got an MGF pack and pulled a Luster Dragon. |<00|_ |\| 3$$! I did some duels against some randoms after the bracket was over. One of them got me down to 3700. Another failed to even damage me. I would list the life totals, but my wrists are cramping up, it's getting late, etc.

Props

to me for winning the tourney.
to Tom for being cool.
to Robbie for doing well.
to all my opponents for some excellent matches (Yes, even you, Chump Change.).
to Mirage and Airknight for being my [insert brand name here] Peak Perfomers.
for pulling Luster Dragon

Slops

to Chump Change for being the cockiest SOB the world has ever seen.
