Official Upperdeck Tournament, LON legal
12 people advanced bracket
Entry fee: $5
1st: 3 booster packs
2nd: 2 booster packs
3rd: 1 booster pack

Gametek has two tournaments every weekend. One official on Saturday and one unofficial on Sunday, I decided to go to both. I arrived at Gametek with my deck in hand. I decided to drop my Haymaker for a while in a search for "my" deck. I was confident going in. Me and Phillip stayed up all night fine-tuning our decks. Phillip is spending the week at my "crib" because his parents are in Morocco for there anniverary. I put in some of my new LON cards, since thier tournament legal now. Royal Command and Infinite Cards were the two added. I found out that Cesar, the #1 player at Gametek, won a huge tourney at another mall and won $500, and bought us all boosters. Thanks Cesar!

Round 1
Opponent: Chris (chance-deck)
I've been in the advanced bracket for about 3 weeks and I have never faced Chris. I know he runs a chance-deck, with like Time Wizards, Jirai Gumos, Goddess of Whims and Barrel Dragons to name a few.
Duel 1, I started out by hitting him good with Hayabusa Knight and Dream Clown clearing the field. He hit me with Tremendous Fire. I drew Muka Muka, I had Infinite Cards in play. I layed Muka and lessee here, ten cards in my hand. 10x300=3000+600=3600 Muka Muka. I hit his open field with Muka and Dream Clown. He tried to Raigeki the field. Raigeki... meet Magic Jammer. He used Barrel Dragon, but called the flip wrong. He attacked my Hayabusa Knight. Can you say... MIRROR FORCE!? I hit him with Muka for the win.
Duel 2, I set Time Seal and layed a Wall f/d. He played Goddess of Whim and called right. My Wall was gone, but Goddess went back to his hand. I layed a Dream Clown and attacked his life points. He layed a card f/d and 1 m/t. I drew and played Axe on Dream Clown and switched it to defense, and destroyed his MEB. I activated Time Seal, he didn't have any cards in hand. I attacked with Dream Clown for the win.

Round 2
Opponent: Tim (burndown)
Duel 1, I hit him with a 2100 attack Muka and Dream Clown. He destroyed my Muka with Tribute to the Doomed. I set Royal Command and attacked with Hayabusa Knight. He hit me with 3 Tremendous Fires, ouch. I got out Hayabusa knight with Axe of despair and demolished him.
Duel 2, He hit me with the beatdown part of his deck.(i.e. Summoned Skull) He got me down to around 600 life points. He tried to finish me off with Tremendous Fire. MAGIC JAMMER! I launched Nimble Momonga for the win.

Round 3
Opponent: Bye
I got a bye this round because Damon didn't show. I went next door to eat at Wendy's. Mmmm... chicken nuggets.

Round 4 Finals
Opponent: Cesar (equip-beatdown)
Duel 1, his Megamophs and Mage Power did me in. None of my Messengers or Binds showed? Whad up wit dat, boo?
Duel 2, I hit him with a 3300 Muka Muka early and he couldn't overcome my army of weenies and Gravity Binds. I won in 5 turns.
Duel 3, We had counters for almost everyone's moves. Notice I said "almost." He hit me with Jinzo and Summoned Skull, both with Megamorph equipped to them. I destroyed his Jinzo with Hayabusa Knight, but he had Call of the Haunted. I need a 7 Tools! He used Raigeki, then attacked with Jinzo.

I think Cesar is getting his "mojo" back. He beat me in about 10 minutes. I got my packs and pulled Magic Cylinder and some other card. *cough* mystic tomato *cough*
