4-Starred Ladybug of Doom (great against those pesky beatdown decks)

Spirit of the Harp (a good defense at the beginning of the game)

Trap Master (I always add 1 of these to my deck, just incase)

3x Rainbow Flower (great for direct attacking, especially with some power-ups)

2x Nimble Momonga (good for an ez 200 lp’s)

Hane-Hane (good for returning those high sacrafice monsters back to their hands)

Kuriboh (save yourself against a direct attack)

2x Sangan (great for getting man-eaters in a tight spot)

Man-Eater Bug (good in any deck, in my opinion)

Dream Clown (sadly, I only have 1, but im getting 2 more 2morrow.. J)

Giant Soldier of Stone (once again, another high defense 3 star monster)

2x Magician of Faith (hello magic cards)

2x Mystical Elf (high defense 4 star)

Mask of Darkness (good 2 get traps)

Witch of the Black Forest (pretty much to get direct atk monsters)

3x Mystic Lamp (good for direct atk)

Magic (12)

2x Fissure (good for getting monsters off field)

Prohibition (no Jonzo’s or a weakness to my deck)

2x Ground Collapse (not sure about this 1 b/c I heard some1 say something about it, but only 1 monster for you… J)

Nobleman of Crossout (good for those flip monsters that you don’t like)

2x Sword of Deep-Steated (good to power up the direct atk monsters)

Monster Reborn (Almost nessicary for every deck)

Change of Heart (Take over those monsters and use them to your advantage)

Malevolent Nuzzler (again, power up those direct atkers)

The Shallow Grave (get flip effect monsters back)

Trap (14)

Driving Snow (the card says you CAN use it when you lose a trap, so that doesn’t mean you have to.  I use it as a mystical space typhoon.  Tell me if that is true)

2x Trap Hole (stop those high atk monsters)

Gift of The Mystical Elf (gain a good amount of life points)

Magic Drain (no matter what, they lose something)

Numinous Healer (good for life points, wish I had more)

Magic Jammer (no more magic for you)

2x Enchanted Javelin (good when he atk’s a monster in defense… YAY, FREE LP’s)

2x Gravity Bind (stop those high star monsters)

Michizure (I lose a monster, you lose a monster)

Waboku (stop that atk and stall for a turn)

Call of the Haunted (big surprise when I get a monster on YOUR turn)

Total Cards (50, I think 50 is a perfect deck size)

Now to start the tourney report

Round One

Well, im not to happy about this, but I lost.  I had to face the winner of the tournament in the first round.  We both had stall decks, but I didn’t have some of these cards.  He use his direct atk monsters and use his solemn wishes to gain LP’s and drain mine.  These matches lasted about 20 min each, but he won 2 in a  row.  This really made me mad, but I watched my friend tie for first.

Round Two

From now on, ill be telling about my friends duels. (unfortunately I was kicked out the first round… L)  He faced some kid that thought he was all that.  He ended up to be just another kid that didn’t kno wut he was doin.  He got all low cards and got crushed.

Round Three

My friend faced a little kid who thought he was seto kaiba with the briefcase and all.  He turned out to be just a little poser.  My friend has a beatdown deck.  He overwhelmed the poser and won 2 right out of the bat.

Round Four (Semi-final)

This was pretty cheap, at the very beginning, the other kid got 2 ground collapses, only 1 monster for my friend.  He ended up wining using his summoned skulls and overwhelming him.  Same happened in the 2nd match.

Round Five (Final)

It was my friend versus the person I lost to in the first round… L.  The first match went to Loren(his challenger).  He won b/c he has as stall deck, like me.  He used Messanger of Peace (a card im getting soon) and a gravity bind.  He then took him out using the direct atking monsters.  The second round went to my friend.  He used solemn judgement and stopped his gravity bind.  He then used his basic beatdown strategy and won.  The store had 2 close, and they just split the winnings.

Props:

My friend won

I got good cards from packs (not winning L)

I made a friend

Slops:

No winnings for me L
