                                                 BEFORE THE TOURNAMENT BEGAN
Before the tourney began, I lent my cousin Brittany fissure,a block attack,, a ground collapse, a minor goblin official, a mad sword beast, a monster reborn and a blue eyes . Brittany and her sister, Lindsey, Had come to the tournament but Brittany was the one who dueled while Lindsey was the one who watched. I also bought a Ceasefire and a Premature burial for about $22 total. I added them both to my deck and took out 1 tremendous fire and 1 attack and receive for them. This kid about 2 or 3 years older than me asked me what kind of deck I had and when I said beatdown, he almost started laughing(HE on the other hand, had gotten eliminated in the first round :P). I got crud in the tournament pack. I got a parrot dragon, a water magician and a queen of autumn leaves. Last time, I had gotten Dokurorider and 2 other crummy cards. When a kid in front of me got a revival of Dokurorider in a pack, I offered him a Garnecia Elefantis for it. He accepted, and I now had Dokurorider AND Revival of Dokurorider :). I was happy to get rid of the Garnecia. Now, onto the tournament.

                                                                 THE TOURNAMENT
Before the first duel:My cousin, Brittany, was announced to duel Julian. Naturally, she turned to look at me and started to get a little bit frightened. But when the judge said that it was a different Julian, she was releived. She was going to face the storeowners son.I, on the other hand was going to duel*gulp* a toon deck.

MATCH 1:  Julian&Flaming Fist VS. Darryl&Toon Burner  18 people left
OK, I had seen this kid duel the last time I was at a tourney(which was a looooooong time ago) and he annihilated the guy he was dueling with Manga Ryu Ran, Toon Summoned Skull and *gulp* Blue Eyes Toon Dragon. This was my first time against a toon deck, so I was a little nervous.

Duel 1: I started the duel by setting a man eater bug and a sword of deep seated. He also set a monster and a m/t. I flipped man eater bug, destroyed his facedown normal monster and summoned harpies brother. I ended my turn because I thought his facedown m/t was a mirror force. He ended his turn by setting 1 more m/t. I tributed both monsters on the field for my Barrel Dragon and equipped him with my Sword of Deep seated, Horn of the Unicorn and Malevolent Nuzzler, raising him to 4500 Attack! I attacked his lifepoints directly an ended my turn. He activated his set spellbinding circle and stopped my Barrel dragons rampage. He also summoned a Takuhee and equipped it with sword of deep seated, raising its attack to 2000. I drew a pot of greed, played it and drew a summoned skull and a monster reborn. I monster reborned harpies brother, tributed it for summoned skull and attacked his Takuhee, Inflicting 500 points of direct damage. I forgot to use Barrel Dragon’s effect that turn:(.He summoned a 1600 attack monster and equipped it with a malevolent nuzzler. He then ended his turn. I summoned white magical hat, attacked the monster equipped with malevolent nuzzler, inflicted 200 points of direct damage, attacked his lifepoitns with white magical hat and discarded*sigh of relief*Seven tools of the bandit. He didn’t put any monsters down, so I attacked his lifepoints with summoned skull and ended the duel.

Duel 2:I went first again(he let me) and I drew a hand full of magic cards, including pot of greed. I played pot of greed and drew Confiscation and dark elf. I played Confiscation and I put his toon world in the graveyard (he only had 1 toon world and no magicians of faith) so his strategy had been altered to a beatdown. I summoned dark elf and ended. He summoned Takuhee(again) and equipped it with sword of deep seated(again) and ended his turn. I drew my summoned skull and summoned it immediately. I attacked his monster and reduced his lifepoints by 500(again).Im not sure of the rest, except that he did some damage to my lifepoints.

Between Duels:I found out that my cousin (Brittany) had lost to the storeowners son, Julian. I got her to give back the cards I lent to her and told her that I had made it to the 2nd Round! She was happy, at least until she found out who I was going to duel...the person who had eliminated her, the sroreowners son, Julian. His strategy was to get out as many Sloemn Wishes as possible so that his lifepoints were so high that he couldnt get hurt. I quickly switched in my Jinzo and my Heavy Storm so that I could stop them before it was too late. Lindsey kept dragging her finger across her throat to say that I was going to be deat meat this round. Yeah right.

MATCH 2: Julian&Flaming Fist VS. Julian(same first name as me!: )) K.&Solemn Wishes deck  9 people left

Duel 1: Dont remebber much.Just that I killed him quickly.

Duel 2: I got Jinzo, Malevolent Nuzzler and Change of Heart in the first hand. I let him go first and he set  a monster and 1 or 2 m/ts that I were pretty sure were traps,  one of them probably being solemn wishes. I change of hearted his facedown...BISTRO BUTCHER....and tributed it off for my Jinzo. I equipped it with malevolent nuzzler and attacked his lifepoints. All he did was set a monster. So I summoned a 1800 attack monster and after I destroyed the facedown monster with Jinzo,I repeated the process the next turn except the 1800 attacker destroyed the facedown monster and Jinzo finished him.

Between Duels: I called my mom and cousins who were at the mall and told them that I had gotten Brittany’s revenge. I also told them that I had made it to the quarterfinals and my cousins started chanting “Go Julian, Go Julan...”. I was going to duel the person who had gotten a bye last turn.

Quarterfinals: Julian&Flaming Fist VS. Alex&Confusion Deck 5 people left

Duel 1: He kept falling asleep so I was able to beat him because he was in a semi-concious state the entire duel. I dont remember much about this duel.

Duel 3:This was close. He was pretty low and he snatch stole my maha who was equipped with 2 Malevolent Nuzzlers and 1 horn of the unicorn and beat me after that.

I did 2 little free duels and I was victorius both times. Well, thats my second tourney and my first tourney report. I might make another next week, but, then again, I might not.
