Round 1: Me (Bandit Keif) vrs. Blake

I solemnly took this match no sweat. Mostly because my head was nice and cool in the shade and the sun was keeping my dueling hands warm. Blake had a beatdown spiced up with some equips and that wish trap card that gives you 500 life per draw. I heard this deck swept the tournament here a couple weeks ago, too bad I wasn’t there to witness it. All his cards didn’t help him too much… I took the first 2 rounds to win the duel.

My borg style deck saw the trap card Solomn Wishes and Spellbinding Circle, my deck was programmed to pay no attention to it, it’s technology wasn’t worth assimilating. Then my deck set it’s eyes on the monster that he put down. But first my deck had to deal with the damaged unit. Seeing it as inferior with the Spellbinding Circle attacked to it the “Borg Soldier” disassembled his fellow unit “Borg Critter” and used it’s spare parts as ammo. Before he knew it I assimilated the strength and abilities of his monsters and took him down.

Round 2: Me (Bandit Keif) vrs. Donald

Donald ran a beatdown this week, he got far in most tournaments with it so I knew it was pretty good. Before the match we moved the table because the sun was in my face and not on my hands. After I was in position a cool head and quick hands took this duel 2 wins to none.

I would like to figure out the chances of me getting one card in my deck and him getting the same card in his deck. This is because both duels, when I hit for the win, he had mirror force down and I was attacking with Jinzo leading the merciless wolf pack.

Jinzo                 (1 out of 40)     Now the chances of us having those 2 cards at the

Mirror Force    (1 out of 40)     same time… bah no more charts, too tired. I’ll                                                              figure it out next time.

Round 3: Me (Bandit Keif) vrs. Zeeno (Steffon)

Post Game shouts:

Anyone from Collectors Corner reading this! Tell Jeff next week, I may write one about Collectors Corner if people read this stuff from there.

To the newest member of the crew: Marcus! Brought in by Alexis and Kevin on our way to Subway. Expect a newsletter, many many junk mails and telemarketer calls very soon.

My sister Geraldine should have eliminated Steffon first round. Oh well, she learned from that duel and she will adapt her strategies to make stopping her deck like stopping a friggin waterfall.

Alan for trying to get Tommy L addicted to YuGiOh. (Yes! Yet another person my age! Addicted to a Card Game where a piece of paper can go for $30 dollars!)

Chris for taking 1st in the tourney.

Serf’s computer for being down – letting the Borg run rampant for yet another week.
