This is my first tourny report. Hope this gets posted if not, I will try again next week. Just got the last 2 peices, I needed for Exodia, on Dec. 21. Thanks to Andrew Phillips of Coliseum Comics, in Florida and Dave, in Canada, for their past posting of Exodia.
This is what i put together.
Monsters: 18
5x Exodia and four limbs
3x 4-starred ladybug of doom (for beat down)
2x Hane-hane (needed for card destruction or cyber jar)
2x Msytic tomato
2x Sangan
1x Witch of the black forest
2x Magician of faith
1x Mask of darkness (bring back backup solider)
Magic: 12
3x The shallow grave
1x Monster reborn
1x Premuture burial
1x Pot of greed
1x Upstart goblin
1x Painful choice
1x Dark hole
1x Change of heart
1x Messanger of peace
Traps: 10
3x Waboku
2x Backup solider
1x Call of the huanted

1x Imperial order (beatdown is magic heavy)

Exodia vs high defense
Game #1
This was long game, he would not attack. I had to dark hole and start attacking with mystic tomato. He built defense up again, raigeki and attack with mystic tomato. For most of the game our monster zone was full. I actually had to draw 4 exodia peices. This is a first, i summoned Exodia with a higher life point.
Me=5250, Eddie=1750
Game #2
Much more of the same things. He now knows my deck. I thnk he has basicly given up on his deck. I had drew 2 peices on my first draw. He stalled to bring dark magician, but i flipped waboku. By now I'm a little impatient. I flip mystic tomato and summon whitch fo the black forest. I attack dark magician with both and get 2 more peices. (witch =1, tomato=sanagan=1) Next turn, look, Exodia.
Me= 2450, Eddie=1700
What again my life points higher and summoned Exodia.

Game #1
Jimmy's first tourny. This kid use to just sit with me and my freinds and ask tons of questions. Glad to see he listened. good deck, fairy meteor crash on a high attack monster, plus solenm wishes. Thats okay, I have raigeki.. Long game. He had card destructed me, with 3 peices in my hand. Had to shallow grave 1 peice and hane-hane it back to my hand. I get the rest from my deck. We all know what I am waiting for, my last backup solider. The fist went with the 3 peices. My wabokus save me in the game, but i eventually get my backup soldier and set it. Next turn, Exodia.
Me=3400, Jimmy=9750
Game #2
Like i said, first game too long. have only 15 minutes left. I have to speed this up. I get card destruck early on. Thats ok, no head. Both life points down to 4000 due to solenm judgement chain on both sides. Fast forward. I had 3 peices, back up soldier, mask of darkness, and 4-starred lady bug. I set backup. Jimmy sets. I activate backup and get 7 tooled. That's ok. Set mask of darkness and get attacked. Get backup solider and set. Next turn Exodia.
Me=1600, Jimmy=3800

Exodia vs Dark disruptor
Game #1
He says, this is his first tourny. From the look of his deck, he has alot of game play. D runs dark, brother runs fire, one friend runs wind and from what i gather another runs earth. He beats me down with witch's apprentice boost and puts 4 peices in my hand. On my last turn i set mystic tomato. His summon skull attacks my mystic tomato, set my effect and summon witch. His whiptail attacks my witch. You would think i won, but no. Whiptail gets a 500 boost and I only had 900. Have to damage, before the witch gets its effects from the graveyard.
Me=0, D=9000
Game #2
He still does not know my deck. Fast beat down, but I play more defense and get Exodia.
Me=1200, D=5300
Game #3
He now knows I play Exodia. He starts on me right from the start. Robbin' Goblin. Need I say more. Long story short, I lose. Life point went too fast to get back Exodia.
Me=0, D=8000 (ouch)
D goes on, to place 3rd and his brother places 2nd but our digital nightmare 789 takes first.
Glad to see new good duelist, keep on coming. Props to Jennifer for getting 4th. Props to Steve M. for being the first to post for A-1. Props to Anthony, my son, for placing 9th. Just remember, his is only 8 years old. All four of us made it to the third round. Jen made fourth round. She had to duel Anthony during third round and turn around to duel our #1 duelist.
Slops for me not using my head during the thrid game with D.
