Just like Nick’s trademark, our match was delayed 10 minutes while I was waiting for him while he went to the bathroom. He seems to have a bad habit of holding in his need to urinate until the very last minute. Similar to last week against Bandit Keif, Nick again ran to the bathroom using his now famous “baby step run”. (you like that, Keif?!) When he was finally done, he returned looking calm and relieved. First duel, I win thanks to Messenger of Peace. I slowed him down enough to do enough damage. Second duel, he beats me, thanks to some good dueling on his part. Nick was using weird combos like placing 1800 attackers in DEF mode, then playing Curse of Fiend to turn everything around. He also got lucky with a Time Wizard coin toss. Go Time Roulette! Third duel, I manage to claim victory thanks to some well timed Solemn Judgments. All the skill that Nick showed in the second duel, he seems to have either lost it or used it all up. He made a big mistake by playing Labyrinth Wall in ATK mode, and I jammed his Shield and Sword. 2nd match Opponent: ZeenO (shoot ‘em) ZeenO loves his new shooter deck so much, that he actually talks to his cards and constantly cleans them with his cleaning toothbrush that he brings with him. Since he wanted to win badly this week, ZeenO actually brought his little brother, Bob, with him for good luck to watch him duel. His good luck charm worked, because ZeenO sweeps me two duels. I remember him finishing me off by shooting me with a Cannon Soldier. I brought my LP low with Jirai Gumo and Solemn Judgments and I didn’t leave a defense to protect myself. That’s it for me. I’ll just have to wait until next weekend. Oh yeah, ZeenO goes to win the whole thing. What’s up! to the hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh! gamers at a World of Books, keeping the game going. Get lost! to the thieves that steal cards from kids Serf buffserf@yahoo.com
