This was the first tournament at the hobby shop and
my first tournament as well. Japenese were not allowed.

I was running a beatdown deck.
My Deck:

43)i lost this card b4 the tournament... I guess it wasnt that
good because i have no clue what is was

There were 24 participents(sp?) and my 3 friends Jacob, Clayton,
and Sarmed were there. If i won i was splitting the prize money
with Jacob, and clayton and Sarmed were going to spilt if they
won.

The tournament got started after about 20 minutes of lazing around.
Match 1:
24 people remaining
Chip vs. Gabe(What's a tribute?)
Duel1: He started by trying to play the summoned skull in attack mode
without tributing. I corrected him and then summoned 2 1800s
and beat him down with them.

Duel2: I let him summon a summon skull with no tribute because im
so nice(and had trap hole and monster reborn) and then beat him
down with jinzo and Summoned skull. He did weather report my SORL
though o.0.

Between matchs i met up with my next opponent. He told me he had
10 different decks and asked me my stradgey so he could decide
which to use. Then he told me he had started playing yesterday...
I went into the duel having no idea what to expect.

Match 2:

Chip vs. Josh(Dragon deck)
Duel1: He used a few jap cards and i let it slide, mainly because
i knew what they all did. I cleared his field with raigiki and hit
him for 4000 with an power up hayabusa kinght. He change of hearted
and hit me. I then attacked for the win...

Duel2: He was a little nervous now and my magic cards over whelmed
his defences with ease. He did hit me with a LaJinn once though.

I met up with my opponent for my third match quickly and began.

Match 3

Chip vs Sorry i forgot your name(beatdown)
Duel1: I held all the momentum in this one. I hit him early with
a powered up haybusa. He change of hearted and sacked for jinzo.
I play SORL and bided my time. My draws were Hayabusa kinght Axe
a,d TTtD. I killed jinzo with TTtD and killed him with my second
knight.

Duel2: I took the early lead once again but with the help of a SS,
he beat me down.
0-1100
Duel3: I once again jumped to the early lead with my best buddy
hayabusa knight. He got me down to 2300 with random beatdown monsters
but then i drew SORL. I dark holed the field and summoned white
magical hat and hit him for 1000 bringing him down to 1200. He drew
and passed. I knew that if i drew a monster i would win, and i indeed
drew the most powerful card in my deck. MAGICIAN OF FAITH. My monsters
beat him down.
2300-0

After a lot of wating there were four people left and the semis could
begin. It was
Me vs. Jared
Sarmed vs.ilone

My next opponent would have been better if he had less then 100 cards
in his deck. His Mom was standing over his shoulder the whole time as
well, which is always embarising. Ne ways... on with the duel

Match 4
4 people remaining
Chip vs. Jared(I dunno)
Duel1: He manages to get out relinquish (dont ask how) on the 2nd turn
but i TTtD and killed it. My Jinzo locked away his Waboku that would have
saved him.

Duel2: This one was closer. He change of hearted 3 TIMES ON THE SAME TURN!
(cahnge of heart my MOF get it back Change of heart Jinzo Filp over his Mof
Change of Heart 7 colored fish.) I took took tons of damage and then he dark
holed so i couldnt get any of them back =(. However the field was wide open
for my next two attacks that i did for the victory.

Ilone, who defeated EVERY single one of my friends mutilated Sarmed and then
moved on to me.

Finals:
2 People remaining
Chip vs. Ilone(Better beatdwon then me)
Duel1: I hit him in the begining but it was all down hill from there. His
tribute to the doomed killed my ss and left me open to a tremedous assult.
0-4500
Duel 2: OK listen carefully. This is what you DO NOT DO in a tournament. I
Wasted a MIRROR FORCE on a monster with 1000!!! attack points. I almost
recovered too, but he finaly beat me down with a man eater bug... =(

I got my prize money and saved it(DDR MONEY!!!) and registered for next
weeks tournament, and planned my revenge for my defeat...
