Ok. The night didn’t start off good for me and that was before the dueling started. Everyone had registered and turned in their deck lists. Then the judges announced that no promo cards were legal for the tournament. Everyone was complaining and saying Upper Deck had made them legal, but the judges’ wouldn’t change their minds and said Upper Deck hadn’t sent them anything about that. (Lazy #@$$#$!#@ all they had to do was go on the site.) So then I had to take out one of my Summoned Skulls because it was a tin card and I had to take out my Exchange. It wouldn’t have been bad but they wouldn’t let you switch in other cards you just had to play shorted, which is not far and I’m writing Upper Deck about it and telling them not to count the tournament because it wasn’t a legal tournament. Ok on to the first Match. Me: Turtle Burner Emily: Exodia 1st Duel I didn’t know she had an Exodia deck. We both drew and she went first. I don’t remember it exactly but she kept using Sangan’s and others and kept drawing cards. I figured then she had an Exodia deck. Well I got out Catapult Turtle and kept burning her and then got out Ultimate Offering and killed her. 2nd Duel I wanted to switch in Exchange but remember I couldn’t because the judges were lazy. Well I burned her pretty good and then she attacked and killed her own Sangans and pulled Exoida. So she won. 3rd Duel Early one she played painful choice and picked 3 pieces of Exodia, Backup Soldier, and Spear Cretin. I picked one of the pieces to go to her hand. After that she kept drawing but the pieces were in her graveyard. I burned her almost to death. She had less than 1000 LP left and flipped a Mask of Darkness. My turn i attacked with my one Skull but she had down Mirror Force, next turn she laid down a trap, of course it was Backup Soldier. My turn I laid a Witch and attacked. She had a Waboku. Next turn she played Backup Soldier, and got her pieces back and then she attacked my witch to kill the Sangan she just summoned to bring out her last piece. Crap, one turn away. If I had had my exchange and hadn’t been shorted a monster I would have beaten her. Props: I got a pack. It was my 1st tournament, so it was awesome. My friend beating Emily in the semi-finals which is where I would have been, dueling my friend, if it wasn’t for lazy #%$#$# judges. My other friend telling some little kid that there was a really rare card called, Yellow Eyes Brown Dragon and it was a flip effect that sent all your opponents non-machine type monsters back to his/her hand and the kid believing him. Ha ha ha ha! Slops: There was a really loud annoying kid that wouldn’t leave me alone while I was watching my friend. To lazy #%%#$ judges. Eric Fritz e-mail: erf_erf@hotmail.com
