There were a lot of things they had available for my kids and I to do and look at. The millennium puzzle challenge was ridiculous, though. Who wanted to wait for 2+ hours to possibly get their name called, to get beat down by guys with 3 mechanicalchasers, 3 Goblin attack Forces, and every other stacked card in a deck?? So we saw all of the yugioh games that are out or coming out. I sent my stepdaughter to the exodia training zone, I took the king of games challenge, and did a LOT of open dueling, but even more trading!!! So anyway, in open duel, I played a guy with a few types of ideas in one deck, but too many to be focused. I won two, then he beat me in the third game with La-jinn powered up by an Axe of despair. After a good amount of trading, I got beat down by a Maha Vailo deck. Finally, I got a seat at a dueling table (I had been using the floor, there were so many people). The tables were nice, with the dueling field printed out on the tablecloth. Anyway, first I dueled my step daughter, and I let her beat me. Hell, she's only eight. Then I dueled a guy with A red-eyes Black metal Dragon. He had a DNA surgery-Insect barrier combo. But The fisherman paid no attention to that mess. I won twice. Then I played some kid with a lot of Japanese cards (The rules were that you only play with English cards. They didn't look for "world standard" cards though). And limited knowledge of the game. Then another kid came up and said he uses an Umi deck as well, but my son got there first. My son beat me with a gravity bind deck, even though I never saw the card. Then I played the other Umi kid. Beat him hard. I then went upstairs to the king of games challenge, which was a "win against three people in a row and win" I played first against a kid who had a black pendant on a La-jinn, after removing him, an Umi-ed up Giant red seasnake with a nuzzler on him beat him up well. Onto the next guy, cuz it was one and done in this thing. Next I played a kid with a large deck, whom I never saw the premise of his deck. Fisherman and seasnakes handled that well. Then time ran out, and they gave me a badge for my neckchain anyway, as a champion. Props: - To the tour for having a good event - To me for trading cards that I couldn't give away before (like Harpie sisters, Gate guardian and its pieces, extra fisherman that I had. I got Thousand eyes restrict, BETD, Goblin attack force, Millennium shield, B. skull dragon, and a shonen jump BEWD) - To the kid who murder-ized me with the Maha Vailo deck. Slops: - none really. The event went great. Though they could have had more millennium puzzle challenge personnel. You'll never get called at that rate!!!
