Are you of all people threatening me?!?) 2 Man Eater Bug (Buuurrrrrrrap! Great meal, send in another) 1 Witch of the Black Forest (Hi my pretty little direct damage monsters, you'll be coming up right now) 2 Morphing Jar # 2 (Wabaku, in flip effect form) 1 Princess of Tsurugi (Now this is why I told you not to set that last card.... ah well, thanks for the win) 1 Spear Cretin (Such a beautiful Magician of Faith and Raigeki in my graveyard, I'm soon to have both) 3 Cannon Soldier (Huray! I win the game, and all because I threw my monsters at you) 2 Magician of Faith (Raigeki is looking for to come back, but so is Pot of Greed, I'll take both!) 1 Sangan (You have an impressive attack force there, but it will all soon be in defense mode when I get my Morphing Jar out) 1 Mystic Tomato (So many weak Dark types.... I'll take my Witch so I can Kamakazi her) Magic:17 Speed 2: None (Very pretty cards, but so few and far between) Speed 1: 1 Soul Exchange (The ultimate betrayal is your monster being thrown at your own life points) 3 Final Flame (Whack, a harsh 1800 on your life in the opener) 1 Monster Reborn (Ahhhh, the bliss of my Labyrinth Wall back on the field) 1 Pot of Greed (Come to me my Ookazi, yeeeees!) 1 Last Will (1 of my monsters+kamakazi move+last will=Labyrinth Wall for free) 3 Ookazi (What a slap in the face... or life points, these can be) 2 Hinotama (Don't let 500 direct be overlooked, it makes the difference in many duels) 1 Horn of Light (Labyrinth Wall's best friend) 1 Raigeki (You will feel my rath! but only you!) 1 Dark Hole (Hahaha! I've flushed both our monsters down the toilet!) 2 Tremendous Fire (After all the fires you've been fighting, the biggest one took you out) Trap: 4 Speed 3: None (What a concept, use negating and use direct damage and discarding on myself! *caugh right caugh caugh right*) Speed 2: 1 Minor Goblin Official (I applaud your efforts to win, but now I must force you to lose) 1 Gravity Bind (Only the weenies can hurt me now!) 1 Dust Tornado (Die you dastardly Prohibitions and Ground Colapse) 1 Just Deserts (I like the fact that you've ammased a giant army, now you shall pay for having one of such grandure) Pre-Tournament Notes: My friends and I call our duelest ring the "Alliance". By being a member we have agreed that we will duel each other outside of tournaments as often as possible and to try to stay as separated from each other in tournaments as possible, in this way members there of don't have to fight each other. What good is an alliance if you're gonna beat the crap out of everyone in it in the first 2 rounds. Though we don't have a distinguished leader of the group, we all have our parts. I am the strategist, for I constantly find new and more interesting combos for us all to pull off. Rodney holds the brute attack force of the group, he finds ways to use some of my combos in beatdown mode. Ryan has the back up of the group, though his monsters don't have power on thier own, if given a mear 2-3 turns, they can take down even the mighty Gate Guardian himself (this is without equips). Finally there is David whom I consider the mage, he runs a great combo of effects and magic in his deck, but his streangth lies in his magic. Tornament Data: Match #1: Forest Fires vs. multipurpouse beatdown Duel 1: Winner- Me Life points of Me: Unknown, didn't get a sheet untill second match Life points of Opp: see above note Duel breakdown: Couldn't remember much about this one, actually nothing, I know I won by slicing his life into bite-sized chunks with my deadly cards. Duel 2: Winner- Me Life points of Me: Ummm, right Life points of Opp: wound up at 0 Duel breakdown: Once again, nothing, I need to see the life sheets to remember what has transpired, unless it was a great duel, then all I need is my mind, but this was simple, gravity bind came out to play and my Kamakazi technique and other cards turned his life into ashes of its former self. Match #2: Forest Fires vs. Deck without a theme. Duel 1: Winner- Me Life points of Me: 8000>7500 Life points of Opp: 8000>6600>7600>6200>5200>4200>3400>1900>900>0 Duel breakdown: By the end of this duel this kid was thuroughly anoyed by my deck.... and that's not the point of my decks anymore, but hey, whatever works for the win. This duel started with me not getting any matches to start the fire. I soon sparked the fire with my direct damage magics. He made an attempt to douse the flames, but it was a rather failed attempt because he soon felt the full force of all my pyronic cards, his deck went up in a blaze of glorious flames and the only damage done to me was done by me. Duel 2: Winner- Me Life points of Me: 8000>7500>7300>7000 Life points of Opp: 8000>7200>7150>6150>5700>5250>5150>3950>3450>2950>2150>750>0 Duel breakdown: I lit the flames of doom under his life points early with an Ookazi. For him it was all downhill from there. The Forest Fires just kept spreading and he couldn't fight them fast enough, or at all. I finally oblitherated him by tributing my Cannon soldier and mystic tomato to do 1000 life to him, another city burned to the ground! Match #3: Forest Fires vs. Thousand Eyes Restrict based Deck Duel 1: Winner- Me Life points of Me: 8000>5800 Life points of Opp: 8000>7500>3750>1000>0 Duel Breakdown: My arch rival! He runs a defensive deck based on TER, so he was easy prey for my forest fires. I oppened by lighing him up with a Hinotama and playing Jirai Gumo in attack mode. He played TER and absorbed Jirai, and attacked my life, oh well, he payed dearly. I used Raigeki on him, (hahaha! no more TER, now my fires are free to spread!) I set a morphing jar #2 and ended. he set a bunch of monsters while I played canon soldier to the field. I wound up winning by tributing one of his monsters to hit him for 500 and one of mine to finish him. I had some nice roasty hot dogs from all the fire that had burned him. Duel 2: Winner- Me Life Points of Me: 8000>6000>4900>4400>4000>3600 Life Points of Opp: 8000>7900>7400>6300>5700>4300>2900>1050>50>0 Duel Breakdown: He told me that I wouldn't win this one.... sure deal man, I know there isn't going to be rain for the next bunch of turns so you're gonna lose. It was a long and hardfought duel. He activated gravity bind to stop me from Kamakaziing my monsters into his, so I activated mine just to irk him. His feable attempt didn't work vs. my super Kamakazi warriors and all the tons of gasonline they dropped on his life so that my cannon soldiers could, in the end, light it up and engulf him. With this duel behind me, I looked at his lifepoints with satisfaction, knowing that he could only stare on as the fires consumed his very being into a boiling puddle of mush. Match #4: Forest Fires vs. Jinzo Deck Duel 1: Winner- Me Life Points of Me: 8000>6000>3600 Life Points of Opp: 8000>5600>5100>4600>3600>3100>1700>900>0 Duel Breakdown: I oppened this duel with 3 Ookazi. He told me it was a waste of 3 cards. That only made me want to spark fires in his life even more, now he was gonna burn! He hit me with some good attack cards, but then attacked me with a Dark Elf.... he if you wanna set yourself ablaze, go right on ahead. I finally got to Kamakazi two of my men to finish him. Duel 2: Winner- Him Life Points of Me: 8000>6850>1300>0 Life Points of Opp: 8000>7500>6500>5000 Duel Breakdown: My forest fires were doused out by that dastardly Jinzo. I had Just Deserts down, but, no that card, that card! Jinzo tore me limb from limb. So my fires had been put out, revenge would be sweet. Duel 3: Winner- Him Life Points of Me: 8000>5500>600>0 Life Points of Opp: 8000>6600>5200>4200>3400 Duel Breakdown: I burned him quick, but maybe a little too fast, because he came back with..... Jinzo! I had Gravity Bind ready to save me and then that stupid card, my fires almost made the Machine melt but without my defenses I was trampled. All in all, a good duelist tournament. I'm looking forward to the Team Tournament on Sunday. Zup to: Everyone in the Alliance: Now we'll all be a force to be reconned with at tournaments! Jinzo: The only fire fighter out there who can actually extinguish the fires. David: As have I, he has maintained a streak of not getting eliminated in the 1st round. Ah crap to: Jinzo: I will stop you from fighing my fires one day My enemy: Leave my cards alone you turd, if you want my best cards, come with a high trade, and if you wanna win, bring and ocean. If you'd like to contact me I'm, Vaveron@aol.com. I know a lot of combos so if you need any, send me your deck contents and I can see what you can do with what you have (send them via E-mail, not in the mail... unless you want me to have your cards)
