Round 1: Me (Bandit Keif) vrs. Joseph

When I heard that this guy was new I didn’t know what to expect. He may have been dominating at a previous comic book store and moved on to find new prey. Well he wasn’t going to find easy pickings here, especially with me as his opponent first round. All I have to say is that he saw what happens to any machine when it Redlines.

The asian guy in the white shirt (tell me your name next time) saw it and was like, “damn that’s powerful.” About finding new prey at a new location, I wonder if the best duelists from Collectors Corner (another store I go to) vrs. The best duelists at World of Books… interesting thought huh?

About Collectors Corner on Saturday, I got 2nd. I Redlined my way through the hok-gwai with the big deck first round. Someone should have told that hok-gwai that bigger is not better in all things. One of those things is Yu-Gi-Oh. And another thing that hok-gwai should know is that it isn’t the size of the deck that makes it powerful, it’s the style of how you use it. Is it like the motion of the ocean or a dead fish in the ocean (deep yea?)?

Round 2 at collectors I think I scared the kid sitting next to me when he found out that I was Bandit Keif. I would like to apologize (this goes to the kid in the red shirt). And I would like to thank the asian guy, “that kid over there with the long hair” for reading all this stuff. Oh yea I was talking about round 2 at Collectors Corner, this kid won the first one, making me struggle to win the next 2 matches to win this round. I Redlined and before the Redline could break my engine, I broke his life points (he ran a Collectors Corner beatdown – namely beatdown with heavy monster removal).

Championship at Collectors Corner. I didn’t win this one, Serf says its mainly because I’m more concentrated on giving out high fives for every cool move I do than concentrating on the game at hand. And boy did I give out high fives that round. I remember when I used my staple card “soul release”.

Asian guy with accent, “Oh he soul release, he’s ready-ing something watch! Watch!”

(I then go from two monsters on the field to 1 witch and 1 barrel dragon)

Asian guy with accent, “How did that happen? Did I miss something?”

Round 2: Me (Bandit Keif) vrs. Phillip

I was vrs. Study hard kid’s older brother “mah-nong been studing”. I dueled him a couple weeks ago and didn’t know his name. I guess he made a name for himself now that he got better because I seem to know his name this week. Oh well he really improved making my deck run in 4th gear through 2 matches, but he still got burnt (while I was in 4th gear). I heard his brother “study hard kid” lost 1st round (guess he didn’t study this week).

Round 3: Me (Bandit Keif) vrs. Steffon (Zeeno)

I won the first match vrs. Zeeno’s Serf Style Deck, making it theoretically harder to win the duel because he would have to win 2 in a row now. Well, he won 2 in a row and I was like damn. He kept on hitting me with the “big” hitters while killing my monsters and magic with various cards. Damn it, I have to tweek my deck just a little so I can keep my ranking… come on season, when are you going to end! I want my box already!!

Post Game shouts:

Anyone from Collectors Corner reading this! Tell Jeff next week, (the guy with Bandit Keith on his cards) I may write one about Collectors Corner if people read this stuff from there (props to the 2 people who already read this stuff – “long hair” and “red shirt”) (you guys gotta start giving me your names.)

Alexis for making ten kids around me cheer for joy when I said, “No Alexis isn’t here, he went to Reno this weekend.”

Marcus for taking the tournament at the other store “M and M”. Was that it? He had better have taken the tournament damnit… or at least his cousin Alex, or at the VERY least Alex’s dad.

Shout to all the other expert players – Brandon “Pho”, Donald “I’d rather be with my girlfriend than watch the Raider game (whip!)”, Allen (Schezar) “Tommy Lau isn’t going to play!?!?” and to the K Force One who didn’t make it this week.
