Yes, that is a Morphing Jar from the TP1 series. That isn’t a typo. Just for everyone to know. Also, I do have another strategy. If I look at my opponent’s eyes hard enough, I can tell if they have a good hand or a bad hand.

Round 1

Me vs. Steve???

This guy had a HUGE fusion deck of 15 cards (3 B. Skull Dragon, 3 Twin-Headed Thunder Dragon, 3 Labyrinth Tank, 3 Skull Knight, and 3 Thousand-Eyes Restrict). He also had 3 of EVERY fusion material monster and 3 Polymerization with 3 Magician of Faiths to manipulate them back to his hand.

Duel 1: I had a decent hand of 2 Jammers, Soul Exchange, Swords of Revealing Light, and Pot of Greed. I won the flip and went first pulling a Barrel Dragon. I set the Magician as well as both Jammers. I then played the Swords. He played Poly which I Jammered. He played another and I Jammered again. He got really annoyed by my obvious annoyance (I know that sounded lame). He set a monster. I drew Raigeki. I simply passed for the turn. He played another monster in defense. I drew Giant Trunade and played it. Then I played Soul Exchange on one of his monsters and flipped Magician of Faith and did the same to the other and pulled out my favorite monster, Barrel Dragon. I couldn’t attack so I passed. He played his final Poly to pull out Labyrinth Tank and tortured my Magician of Faith. After that, I kept getting Barrel Dragon’s effect in my favor and finally drove his life points right into the ground.

Duel 2: I had a little harder of a time pulling good cards and after he pulled out Thousand-Eyes Restrict and absorbed one of my Barrel Dragons, it went downhill for me until I pulled my Change of Heart. I was nervous about using it because he had a set m/t card and I was afraid it was a Jammer or a Drain. I played Reborn to test it and son of a gun, it was a drain. I didn’t counter. By then I Change of Hearted his Restrict and clobbered him with it.

Round 2

Me vs. ???

Duel 1: This guy thought so slow, I had to painfully jerk myself awake several times.

I pulled out my Barrel Dragon early with two Soul Exchanges. And then I ran him over like a freight train.

Duel 2: He didn’t pull any monsters at all so I was able to crush him with my Brothers and Fishes. He only did me damage with an Attack and Receive.

Round 3

Me vs. Tony

Duel 1: He beat me in three turns with 3 Goblin Attack Forces.

Duel 2: I beat him in three turns with my Brother’s and Genies.

Duel 3: This one was long. We got each other down low. He was at 950 while I was at 750. He had a Goblin in defense mode but I reborned his Jinzo and attacked his Goblin in defense mode. He played Dark Hole and reborn.

So I got 3rd place and 2 Pharoah’s Servant. I got Gravity Bind and Dust Tornado in them.
