Welcome and thanks for reading my 2nd tournament report. Last week I got out in third round. All the while today, as I was dueling, I kept thinking that I was gonna lose. Daymeon & Keith went to the Yu-Gi-Oh mall tour upstate or whatever, so The store champion was not there. Before the duels started, I sold my Elegant egotist and harpie lady sisters for $7 and bought 2 PSV packs. I got a monster recovery and… ceasefire!!! I traded ceasefire and a couple of rares away for snatch steal & also bought a dilenquent duo from charlie, the store owner, for the cheap price of only $5. The prizes were:

1st : $20 credit

2nd: $10 credit

3rd : $5 credit

everyone got a TP2 pack.

On to the matches!!!

Round one:

Me vs. kid with goatee

This kid was easy. I beat him pretty pretty easily, with only losing 400 in the second round. I honestly don’t remember a lot that happened except with him playing jurai gumo and me trap holing him and then attacking with like 3 monsters for the win.

Round two:

Me vs. Jose

I would always see this kid and he would always give me the ‘sup’ headshake. I knew it was a matter of time before I would have to face him. I remember that I 7 toolsed his imperial order twice. I keep forgetting what happened today but I won both duels. And I also remember saying that that was a really good duel.

Round three:

Me vs. Reggie Coker (weird, cheater boy)

I hate this kid. He cheats and he is really cheap with his 3 waboku’s, prohibitions, and he kept shallow graving his cyber jar. He did some weird stuff with, well… he did some weird stuff. I let him have his way and I kept thinking " you wanna play like that? fine.we’ll see". I ended up beating him 2 in a row. Wow! I actually got this far. Cool.

Round four:

I get abye(woohoo!!!) because I won 2 in a row

I am automatically in the top 3(!)

Round 5:

Me vs. Jonathan Plaza

I knew this guy was gonna be good. I expected myself to lose 2 in a row. I actually beat him in the first round. 2nd round, it was neck and neck with us basically killing each other off. He beat me, and then, in the last duel it was me: 600 lp and him: 400 lp. I was about to flip my magician of faith to get something, but he horn of heavens my MoF with his and plays monster reborn to get SS for the game.Congrats to him.

Wow. I did NOT expect to get this far. 3rd place. Too bad Sam Tilak beat Johnathan in the finals. I got a beautiful headhuntress in my TP2. Then I had to leave. If anyone lives around Richmond hill, Woodhaven, or Jamaica, come down, have a good time, and duel some of the best in duel monsters. Now its time for props and slops:

Props:

to me for getting third

to charlie for holding kick-ass tournaments

for getting snatch steal and delinquent duo

for beating reggie coker, cheater extraordinare

to sam for winning

Slops:

to reggie coker for trying to cheat by making up his own, weird rules

That’s it for this week. Questions? Comments? Email me at wazzup718@hotmail.com
