First off, I’d like to say: I HAVEN’T EVER SEEN ANOTHER ****ING GRADIUS DECK AS A TOURNEY REPORT ON THIS WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!! If anyone has posted one, my apologies please e-mail me…I know of about 2 other people both on and off the internet that play gradius and one plays a light deck…
Okay, anyways I thought I would be creative, yes, I know, the deck needs some help and yes, I am working on getting better cards, and no, I don’t actually attack with Jirai Gumo.
Oh, and I was pretty much doomed to lose this because I just got back from camp and have as yet got only ONE good card from PGD…
And it was…guardian sphinx; well, my cousin was visiting and he let me borrow his heavy storm for the tourney, STEPHEN I KNOW YOU ARE READING THIS WHEN ARE YOU GONNA ****ING SHOW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Round 1: Me vs. Frank (he’s like only 9 or 10) he plays Beatdown like every other person there pretty much =\
Well , I traded for a lot of those before the tournament, it starts, I get paired up against…the #1 player there L well, good news is, the top 2 went to gen con so I had a chance this time, and I WON THE FIRST DUEL AGAINST HIM!!! Yes, he lost because his own Jinzo was negating his own traps lol. Then, I drew a bad hand, him an excellent hand, he crushed me, then we both drew decent hands, it was equal until I made a stupid move (played a gradius and 2 options without being able to go in for the kill =/) next he plays raigeki and screws me over
And, it was single elimination.
Well, here are the highlights.
I go second and play a…Jirai Gumo and he LAUGHS and then I next put down sangan and search for gradius on the pretense that it looks cool he is like cracking up and then when I finally lay out my plan on the field he stops laughing after I do a nice 4400 damage, next he has jinzo out and a kycoo and flip summons his MoF NIG MISTAKE!!!! I don’t need to worry about traps now and I pile all equips I have and a limiter removal on my one gradius and just in case play an option and then I go in for the kill on his magician of faith. I had 4400 LP left.
Next, he takes no damage by way of a jinzo with United We Stand, 3400 damage, then 3400 more damage, then I put something in defense, he plays lily and does 3400 more damage so rhe final score is 6000 him, 0 me.
3rd round I am so nervous this basically determines who wins this week, we both get decent draws, it is about even, I see that I can swarm with gradius but not win, I do, he plays raigeki, I have no hand, he slaughters me well, I paid the price for my hasty move :/…
He congratulated me after the duel and said I probably had one of the ebst decks there that day, another guy asked him if HE could beat me, Frank said no, the guy didn’t believe him, dueled me, and I proceeded to slaughter him. Then this guy came with a bruner deck and played me, I HATE BURNERS!!!!! He played 3x Tremendous Fire, 3x Hinotama, 3x Final Flame, 3x Ookazi, Fiber Jar, Morphin Jar or whatever makes you discard your hand and draw 5 cards, and I –think- cyber jar. And magic cylinder and scapegoatses and stuff, and 3 kuribohs…oh well, it was fun;
