There were about 20 people overall. My second tournament and I went all the way for my first tournament victory! YAY! But now I can look forward for everyone here to be gunning for me the next time I come in. I noticed a different way some of the people were playing Exodia decks, which were the people I dueled with. They have beatdown-type monsters in their deck. Mainly for stalling out your opponent with high attack levels so they have time to pull out Exodia. And I noticed the popularity of Goblin Attack Force, Scapegoat and Penguin Soldier, at least with the players at this location. Think of Penguin Soldier as a stronger Hane Hane. And Scapegoat can come up handy when your opponent attacks and you have no monsters on the field. Goblin Attack Force, straight-out force. And I also found out how strong my Kycoo's can be. If you can remove the Exodia head from the game, you have the game in the bag. Well onto my deck

First Round:
Got a bye along with eight others. Only one match happened during this round to make it a good round of eight in the next round.

Second Round:
Soul Eatin' Beatin' vs Exodia Beatdown
He was one of the Exodia Beatdown-types I was talking about earlier. Thing is I didn't know he had Exodia in his deck. Beat him first time with Kycoo and Jinzo, then the second time with Magic Cylinders. Surprisingly, I beat him without going to my sidedeck for my Exodia buster cards.

Third Round:
Soul Eatin' Beatin' vs. Pure Exodia
I knew this guy had Exodia so I sidedeck-replaced Premature Burial, Call of the Haunted, Ekibiyo Drakmord, an Axe & a 7 Tools for 2 Prohibitions, 2 Exchanges and Solemn Judgement.
1st Match: I took him down quick and fast with Beatdown attacks and Exchanging one of his Exodia pieces
2nd Match: He took me down in one turn with Graceful Charities, Pot of Green, Painful Choice and a few others I can't remember. He went first and I thought he would take the game right there
3rd Match: Got him with Morphing Jar #2, taking down a facedown Exodia piece, then eventually using Kycoo to put two of his pieces out of the game. He was not a happy man afterwards and I was just plain shakin' afterwards after winnin that one.

Third Round:
Me vs Exodia Beatdown
He was gonna be a tough one. I observed him play before the tourney started and this guy was good. Kept my deck the same from the last round. United We Stand looked like my end with him using it on a number of different monsters. Thank god for Heavy Storm. Also kept his monster spaces open with Nobleman of Crossouts and bringing in Kycoos, Gearfrieds, Summoned Skulls an Axe to pound away at his life points.

I'm still in awe that I actually won my first official tournament in only my second try. But I can't allow myself to swim in overconfidence. Gotta keep trying to improve. Learned the strength my Kycoos can have over Exodia and how Exchange does so well too. DUEL WITH HONOR!
