Hello, this is Roger the Skunk (Roger Schaeffer from my last tournament report).  I was able to upgrade my deck with two additional Whiptail Crows (thanks to Aik who also beat me last week), another Malevolent Nuzzler (I traded an Invader of Throne for it), and last but not least another Rush Recklessly from a Magic Ruler booster.  As you can probably tell I love power-up equip magic cards.  In particular Whiptail Crow is on of my favorite cards because it has great stats 1650/1600.  You may say that isn't much, but add a power-up he is a killer and has decent defense in a pinch.  Now, on with the report.

Round 1

Duel 1
Me 8000-7800
Chris 8000-6350-4700-4650-1450-100-0

There is not much to say here.  This guy was new to Yu-Gi-Oh, and did not have a firm grasp of the rules yet (he apparently had read the rule book though).  I attacked him twice with Whiptail Crow.  I even told him to attack one time:  that was the only time he damaged my life points.

Duel 2
Me 8000
Chris 8000-5150-4400-1650-0

Not much to say here either.

Round 2

Duel 1
Me 8000-7550
Richard 8000-4600-4150-5150-4600-3950-3850-2050-0

Not much to say here.

Duel 2
Me 8000-4500-2700-900-0
Richard 8000-6700-6150-4500-4250

Richard was able to keep my monster field clear.

Duel 3
Me 8000
Richard 8000-5950-1700-350-0

There just isn't any thing like having a powered-up Whiptail Crow to beat your opponent into the ground with.

Round 3

Duel 1
Me 8000-6300-3800-0
Richard 8000

This is the same Jimmy from my last report that helped after betting him.  At the last tournament he had to many magic cards in his deck, and Mystic Plasma Zone (which I used against him).  Well, enough of that.  Short story is this:  Fissure, Trap Hole, and Mirror Force equals no monsters on my side of the field.

Duel 2
Me 8000-4800-1900-2900-1200-0
Jimmy 8000-7900-5850

About the same as the last duel, but at least I took some of his life points  away.

All in all the tournament was good, and apparently so was the advice I gave to Jimmy :(  Well send me an e-mail if you have any advice for me or any questions.
