Cyber Dragon

8.16.05

Hello again to Pojo and Yugioh fans one and all!

I recently opened a thread in the forums as to some feedback as to how people liked (or disliked) my articles on the set reviews. So, I decided to throw out another article, and I'll be taking an in-depth look at Cyber Dragon and his fusions that have been recently released in Cybernetic Revolution.

Cyber Dragon (which was also our CotD for today) isn't a bad card at all. He has the capability of being a Special Summon and he also has two very powerful Fusion capabilities.

Cyber Dragon (as stated in my CotD review) is Light which is just a bonus which makes him Chaos friendly. The Special Summon ability is nice and it shouldn't be too hard to accompish. A free 2100 throw down can't be argued with and he is at 4200 Limitered.

People may not be quite as taken or captured by Cyber Dragon as you might think...the fusions are really the only real reason to run him, as they become better and more powerful as he evolves.

Cyber Twin Dragon boasts an impressive 2800 attack and not only that, he can attack twice in one turn. So, let's look at that:

A special summoned 2800 double attacker. That could mean BIG trouble for your opponent right there. Limiter makes this guy have 5600 double attack and that could easily be a game winning tactic there.

Cyber End Dragon is in a word--sweetness. 4000 attack despite requiring 4 cards to pull off (Poly, 3 Cyber Dragons) is excellent.
4000 attack with a built in trample is phantasamagoric (didn't make that word up, look it up). An 8000 Limitered attack with built in Trample revolutionizes a new FTK/OTK for this monster. What's not to like about that?

Now, for those of you who don't like my set reviews, please help me with this. I need some feedback. Would you prefer my articles be about the metagame, and problems there of?

Would you like to see articles of cards, whether they be abused, over-rated, under-rated?

I'm here for you people, so what you want to see and hear is what I should give you guys.

Let me know @ tsearcy@lssu.edu

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

~Dark Paladin~
