Dungeon Dice Masters Talk
Constructing the Exodia Team

Constructing the Exodia Team.

Monsters:

Exodia the Forbidden One – LV 4
Blast Lizard – LV 2
Thunder Ball – LV 3
Feral Imp – LV 2
Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress #1 – LV 2
Dark Magician Girl – LV 2
Mighty Mage – LV 4
Crocozaurus – LV 4
Magician Dragon – LV 3

Why Exodia First?

If you can remember, I was first talking about an Exodia team. Now, I decided to make an Exoida team to show you all. Let’s take a look at why some of these monsters are in this team…

Feral Imp and Winged Dragon Guardian of the Fortress #1

Also in my first article, these two happy monsters where in there. Why? Well, I will tell you. Winged Dragon prevents Tunneling and Feral Imp prevents Flying! The good thing: Exodia can only be destroyed by Tunneling or Flying. These two monsters are easy to summon the field, since they are both LV 2 Summons. A way to protect these two guys: keep them in the back of the Dungeon, possibly both on two different side of the dungeon. NEVER use these guys to move around or attack. Save the Movement crests, and keep them in back. Do that first, and you’ll be all set.

Blast Lizard and Thunder Ball

Blast Lizard for starters, belongs in almost any DDM team. There a level 2 summon, with a wonderful effect. Blast Lizard and Thunder Ball are for any team, mainly this one to pave the way for Exodia to go through. They also go on to destroy all your opponent’s monsters faster, so you don’t have to worry about Exodia getting destroyed. They just keep going and going and going… ahem… I’m getting ahead of my self… Anyway, keep some Magic crests on the standby for these creatures. If you don’t know, Thunder Ball goes straight forward until it hits a dead end, or hit something in it’s path. That’s why we keep a Dark Magician Girl in the wait. In fact, I’ll talk about her next…

Dark Magician Girl

Dark Magician Girl can really help in this dice pool. It’ll help you get some Magic Crests to help with Blast Lizard and Thunder Ball. The really good thing about this is that she’s easy to summon. Only a Level 2. So she’s a keeper in this dice pool.

Mighty Mage and Crocozaurus

Why are there brute monsters in here? Well, that’s simple. Even Exodia needs a little force to help him out. But that’s not all they do! They are also needed to protect Winged Dragon & Feral Imp. These guys are just two of the pieces you can use, (these are the two I use J). These guys can also be of big help to destroy your opponent’s monster if Winged Dragon and Feral Imp get destroyed. Also, if they field is in your advantage, you can summon these guys first and destroy your opponent’s monsters and then summon the two others. Now THAT’S domination.

Magician Dragon

We need some effect monsters in this team, so I added Magician Dragon. He is optional, but he’s my favorite to add. It’s really your choice.

So I am also going to waste your time and tell you why I picked Magician Dragon. Look at its first effect. Its defense may be low, but you can add the defense of another monster in the Dungeon to himself. That’s pretty good. Its second effect is also very good. It can destroy EVERY monster within three squares, but it doesn’t destroy him. It’s just like Cyber Jar, except you don’t lose this guy! Now that clears a path for Exoida, no?

Now if you noticed, we have only 9 monsters here. I didn’t notice it until I was about to send in this article. So what monster shall we pick? Well lets see…

Why don’t we throw in an item? Lets put in Energy Disc!

Why Energy Disc, TheDungeonMaster?

Easy. It well power one of your guys up to defend. Lets say one of your monsters get destroyed, the ones defending your Winged Dragon & Feral Imp, what are you going to do? At least give them a fighting chance and have them power themselves up to attack.

Anyway, after all this, your final Exoida Team should look like this:

Exodia The Forbidden One – LV 4

Blast Lizard – LV 2
Thunder Ball – LV 3
Feral Imp – LV 2
Winged Dragon, Guardian of the Fortress #1 – LV 2
Dark Magician Girl – LV 2
Mighty Mage – LV 4
Crocozaurus – LV 4
Magician Dragon – LV 3
Energy Disc – LV 2

This would be an interesting Exoida Team to seen played. But remember – adding Energy Disc is MY opinion. You can put whatever you want in your team.

Ok, here is a little something I need your help with:

What team should I create next?
