Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke

This is one of those monsters limited not by his own abilities, but by his lack of options. And that’s encouraging because that can be easily rectified. Currently Daiko Duke has only two targets: Tri-Eyed Dice and Red-Eyed Dice, so relying on one of those to be in the grave is not ideal, even in a dedicated Speedroid deck. And this is why Daiko Duke is normally run just as tech. He has a great effect in theory, but needs more targets.

However, it’s important to note that Speedroids are used by an important character in Arc-V, and that character has used other Speedroid monsters such as OMK Gum, which is a tuner, that we can expect to be released at one point or another. So while Daiko Duke isn’t very good now, he could be much better in the future.

Baneful
• Akin to Plaguespreader Zombie, it's a mill-able floater that can be used as a tuner itself and then revive another tuner.
• If you're using more than 1 copy of this card, or other banish-cards, Burial from a Different Dimension is a good way to recycle it.
• A must have card for Speedroid decks.
• This card won't make Speedroids high tier, but it will help them be playable (it's good support nonetheless).

Speedroid Den-Den Daiko Duke is a long name. It is also a Level 3 Wind Machine-type Tuner monster with 1000 Atk and 1000 Def. This Speedroid is not part of the Speedroid engine ironically, so it fails by comparison to other Speedroid cards already. Level 3 is good. Tuner makes sense for the theme. That Atk and that Def are bad. Wind can be surprising, and Machines have support, but I don't think the support for either comes into play in Speedroid decks.

Speedroid D-DDD has a hard once per turn effect that can't target itself. It can banish itself from the grave to Special Summon any other Speedroid Tuner monster from the hand or grave. Unfortunately, there are not that many Speedroid Tuner monsters for Speedroid D-DDD to get. It's not a quick effect either, so this has no utility during the opponent's turn to attempt a block. It also does hardly anything on the field. By itself, it's a Wind Speedroid for other cards to Special Summon themselves, and that's not really good enough.
