The third element that we are going to review is Air. Air Armor Ninja has the ability to decrease the level of one Ninja monster by one. Ideally, you want to special summon Earth Armor Ninja and then summon Air Armor Ninja, reduce Earth by one level and then Xyz summon Blade Armor Ninja or another Rank 4 monster. You can also special summon Cyber Dragon and do the above to get a Rank 4 monster.

The nice thing about Air is that it is a wind monster, a warrior, and has 1400 attack. You can special summon it with Flying Kamakiri 1, and search for it with Sangon and Reinforcement of the Army. You can use Quill pen of Gulldos with two Winds in your grave to pop your opponent’s Xyz or Synchro monster.

Like with the other elements, Air is a key element the deck. Get it – element? I am going to rate the Ninja’s a bit lower than I have recently because I really do not think that it can compete with other decks that are far more explosive and controlling.

Today's card is pretty much the reverse of yesterday's card. Air Armor Ninja is a Level 4 Wind/Warrior with 1400 ATK and DEF. It's like Flame Armor Ninja's effect, except when summoned, you can decrease the level of a Ninja monster you control by 1. These new Ninjas are about changing the levels to get the Xyz or synchro monsters of your choice. Mainly to drop Earth Armor Ninja's level and Xyz from there. Not much else to say about this card that wasn't said in yesterday's card. You like Ninjas and Xyz monsters together? a copy or two on this card helps.

Traditional: 1
Advanced: 2.5 *In an Ninja Deck*
Tomorrow: Scary Water Jutsu......

Angelic Nightmare

Hello everyone! I hope all you pojo-goers are doing fine and dandy! Today we are continuing with our ninja week with another new card from Order of Chaos.

Air Armor Ninja
Warrior/ Wind/ Lv 4/ 1400 ATK/ 1400 DEF
“When this card is Summoned: You can target 1 face-up "Ninja" monster you control; reduce its Level by 1.”

This card is very similar to yesterday’s card, Flame Armor Ninja. Unlike yesterday’s card, this card is not as good in my opinion. I’d rather increase a level up than down in most cases, but it also depends what are the contents of your deck. If you run many of the new ninjas you’re interest is primarily spamming their own rank 4 or 5 xyz. Most of the ninjas are already level 4 and can benefit from Flame’s effect unless you control Earth, have this in your hand, and want a rank 4 xyz.

Its attack isn’t too terribly bad, but it won’t be running over anything that easily.

Pros: Level altering is always nice and it is searchable.
Cons: It’s stats are not impressive.
Traditional: 1/5
Advanced: 2/5 anywhere. 3/5 in ninjas.

Air Armor Ninja
Lv 4/WIND/Warrior/1400A/1400D
"When this card is Summoned: You can target 1 face-up "Ninja" monster you control; reduce its Level by 1."

The oppositie of today's card, in terms of Level tweeking. AAN does what Flame Armor Ninja does in reverse. Pretty much everything I said about yesterday's card is true for this guy... With one exception. His ATK stat is kind of sad. I don't get why Air was made to be weaker than Flame, to be honest. I really wish they'd matched Flame's A/D stats for AAN. It just seems slightly sad that Wind once again got the shaft in the game.

But still, when you concentrate only on his effect and level, AAN is just as good in XYZ and Synchro decks as Flame Armor Ninja. Like Flame, Air is also a common card, so getting copies will be fairly easy.

In the Ninja deck, you'll only want him for getting out XYZs, such as by combining him with Earth Armor Ninja and using Air's effect on Earth to make them both Level 4. Other then that, this ninja ain't so tricky.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him get splashed into XYZ and Synchro decks, though...

Traditional: 4
Advanced: 4.75 in the right deck, 3.75 elsewhere.
