ExMinion OfDarkness
Storm Shooter

Ew.

Let's see...two Tributes but weaker than a Monarch, and has a bounce effect depending on where it is on the field, and bounce effects are weaker than destroying the card outright.

The wind-type is undersupported as it is, Winged Beasts really only have Icarus Attack to support them...

I'll keep my Monarchs, thank you very much.

Ryoga
Storm Shooter:
Yugioh's designers really lost the bottle a few years ago. For the people that made Raigeki, they really have slipped in gutsy card design.

I thought this was a decent monster, able to bounce one or two cards for free, with a reasonable ATK for its level. Then I counted the stars and found they totaled 7, instead of the 6 I assumed. As a Lv7, this is useless and not worth use. As Lv6, it would have been a decent card. Sigh.

Read its effect and simply think of how much better Mobius is.

DeathJester

Storm Shooter

Why couldn’t they make Storm Shooter a 1-Tribute monster? He would be so much better.

I like this card’s effect, because it manipulates the field a bit. Would have been better if he destroys something, but that’s not like the Wind theme. His stats weigh in at 2300/500 which is not too impressive for a 7-star monster.

If you REALLY want to use him there are ways to Tribute for a 2-star monster these days. Spirit Reaper and Gyroid are good for field presence. You can always use Recruiters too. Brain Control is your best friend too.

Last Word: Despite the fact that I’m disappointed by the card’s stats, the effect isn’t SO bad. This card almost made it, but fell a bit short in the R & D department. Want a good monster that manipulates the opponent’s field? Play B.E.S. Tetran. He’s good.
