Mist Body

Spirit Reaper's good effect put into a Spell. I could see it getting some use in some decks, but your average build won't get to take advantage of it.

The abundance of destroyed monsters in this game come from effects, not by battle. If there was a Spell card that was free that said "this card can't be destroyed EXCEPT by battle", we'd be all over it, as all of those Zaborgs, X-Forces, and the like would be useless...

This could be useful in decks that have monsters with built-in protection against other effects. Vampire Lord and Sacred Phoenix could use it well, as your opponent either has to waste a card to get rid of the Mist Body, or use a card that destroys them, so then they revive, so that removal card/effect just traded off with the Mist Body 1:1.

It has potential, but no one's used it yet.

Dark Paladin
Closing out McDonald's week, we come to an Equipment Magic card, Mist Body. This card is cool, and actually may have some potential, at least to annoy the opponent if nothing else.

When equipped to a monster, that monster cannot be destroyed by Battle, although Damage is applied normally, if any. So, your monster gets a Spirit Reaper type effect. If you really needed to protect something in defense position to tribute or something for a couple of turns, this may be the card for you.

However, with Breaker, Mobius, Mystical Space Typhoon and the like still very much at large, it may not be able to survive long.
Permanent Magic and Trap cards all have this downfall though, so we don't hold it against them.

You stay classy, Planet Earth :)

Mist Body:
Hmmm. Some puzzle ideas occur. Now if only I had time...

Making a monster invulerable to attacks seems like a good idea. You could make an interesting situation by slapping this on a Mystic Swordsman LV2. They can never set a monster again! Well, until they activate Sakuretsu, TT, Mirror Force, Smash, etc. As is usual, there is far too much concentration on battle in the newer cards, and until all the easy methods of destruction are gone (which should never happen), they will never be useful. Sigh.

Not worth the resource. A minus one that does not truly hurt your opponent. Cards like level-up provide the field with a big monster whose effect can nullify spells/lock an opponents draw. Swords of Revealing Light is a minus one, but it allows a skilled player the ability to set the tempo, develop resources/field position, etc.

But this card will usually fall to Heavy Storm, breaker, mobius, etc. Now your down one and your opponent probably didn't even break a sweat. Plus smashing ground and widespread ruin (tt, mirror force, etc.) do not target:(

Very cool card. It’s Heart of Clear Water for any creature of any ATK power. I like this card a lot. I really wish Equip Spells were made to be a bit more playable.

Besides that, it’s a good card. Plain and simple: “This creature can’t die by battle”.

Last Word: Again, I like this card. It’s a solid and playable Equip Card. Can we have more like this please?
