Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon
Level 8
2800/2400
Dark
[Machine/Effect]
This card can only be Special Summoned from the Deck to the field by offering "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" equipped with "Metalmorph" as a Tribute. Your Deck is then shuffled.

This card looks really cool. This card is probably not legal in official Tournaments because it's not made by UpperDeck. But for the sake of this CoTD, I'm reviewing it as if it was legal...

First thing first. The only reason in the first place if you are playing REBD is if you are playing the Lord of D./Flute combo. Even then, you should only play with BEWD and Tri-Horned. If you play it in a regular deck, 2 Tributes for a 2400ATK Mon is really bad. It's even worse than Dark Magician... I just thought of something though, you could also play it if you plan on getting Black Skull Dragon out.

Okay, say you got REBD out. Then, you have to equip Metalmorph (which by the way is a good card) on it. Then, you have to offer it as Tribute to get REBMD out from your DECK. So if you don't have anymore REBMDs in your deck, you can't get it. Which is a good thing I guess since a REBD with Metalmorph is better. Now, REBMD only has 2800ATK... which is kinda low considering all the trouble we went through to get it out in the first place... =/

Yonex Red-Eyes Black Metal Dragon -- Monday

Introduction: Boom! Pop! Roar! Magnet?

Level 8
2800/2400
Dark
[Machine/Effect]
This card can only be Special Summoned from the Deck to the field by
offering "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" equipped with "Metalmorph" as a Tribute. Your
Deck is then shuffled.

Why should you use it?
*Big monster
*Quick?

Why shouldn't you use it?
*Tribute monster?
*Traps required

Reasons: Back after finishing the last week of school day of 2002! *cheers*
Today we look at a promo* from the Forbidden Memories Promotional Set. This
card isn't that bad, well maybe it is. But still, if you get it out, and
keep it alive, it pretty much is unstoppable. Pretty much if you can get a
Red Eyes Black Dragon out, it should be a piece of cake to bring out this
card, as long as you have Metalmorph. But, what kills this card is Red-Eyes
Black Dragon is very costly, 2 tributes. What makes it bad is that you
cannot tribute in your hand like Relinquished, fusions, etc. Well, this card
also requires Metalmorph, which makes the task a bit harder for you.
However, if you build a pretty decent deck, this card could work.

Rating: A bit below average card. This card gets a 2.4. There are way better
cards than this (refering to Red Eyes) Jinzo, Summoned Skull, Barrel Dragon,
Cosmo Queen (McD paid me to say that j/k).

Conclusion: All looks, but cannot do anything.

*Cannot play due to Upperdeck ruling on you cannot use promo. Freedom to
booo is okay!

Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon
2800/2400

This card can only be Special Summoned from the Deck to the field by offering "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" equipped with "Metalmorph" as a Tribute. Your Deck is then shuffled.

Duuuhhh.... What can I say that will add up what I think about this card? I know!! Go read Scott's COTD on Skull Servant, that about adds it up. >;~)

Why does this guy suck you ask? First, you need to Have Red Eyes in play, not that hard right? Is really not that hard, it's not like everyone plays Trap Holes and will blow him up to pieces the second you try to summon him. The bright side is that it only takes 2 summons, is not like your opponent will be playing cards like Dark Hole, Raigeki, or anything else that can destroy your Monsters.

You know what? Sarcasm can only do so much, I need to stop now before this SOTD review gets rated R. O,O

Rating -1 (To Pojosama- I know 1 is the lowest but look at the card is all I have to say.)

PS: If you would like to read the un-edited review of this and many other cards send $1 to.... ^_<

(Pojo Note To IQ ... Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!  I look forward to blowing you $h!t in 2003  ;-)

wartortle32 Monday - Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon

Today we look at Red Eyes Black Metal Dragon. You can
only summon this from your deck by sacrificing a Red
Eyes Black Dragon equipped with a Metalmorph. It
cannot be normal summoned.

This card is pure trade bait. With it's attack only
at 2800, it isn't really worth it to go through the
trouble or summoning this monster. You might as well
go with Blue Eyes, as that would be a lot easier to
summon. The only worth of this card is to trade it to
kids who think this card looks really cool.

1.5/5. Not worth the trouble of 2 tributes and a trap
card to summon a monster with only 2800 attack.
