Trading Card Game Tips from fans

From: Chaos mech
Subject: Six Dark Holes and three Pot of Greed? O.O -- Chaosmech

That's right, folks, you read the subject line correctly.
I did indeed say six Dark Holes and three Pot of Greed.
"But Chaosmech," you say, "aren't both of those cards banned? And even if Dark Hole wasn't, you couldn't have six! That just defies the rules of the game!"
You're absolutely correct.
So am I suggesting you cheat?
Am I suggesting that you play *gasp* Traditional Format?
Not at all.
I'm not actually talking about Dark Hole and Pot of Greed. But I am talking about cards that do a similar job.
What if I told you there was a deck type that could have six Dark Hole-like cards, and three Pot of Greed-like cards, in addition to sporting monsters that could return to the field no matter what your opponent threw at them? You'd sign up right away, now wouldn't you? Especially if I told you that this same deck was engineered to get a three-star monster to over 10000 ATK or more, in addition to granting you over 15000 lifepoints on a regular basis.
Yet, no one seems to like this deck.
Why?
If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm talking about Macro/RFG Control.
Before you close this window, though, hear me out.
Remember the six Dark Hole and three Pot of Greed.
It's called Chaos End, Grand Convergence, and Chaos Greed.
The first and third are common spell cards from IOC, and the second is a common quick-play from EOJ.
Yes, they all have activation requirements.
But in the right deck, the requirements can be met easily and efficiently.
Watch, and be amazed.

Macro/RFG Control
Tribute/SS: 3
Mobius the Frost Monarch x3
Non-tribute: 17
Gren Maju da Eiza x3
Peten the Dark Clown x3
D. D. Survivor x3
D. D. Warrior Lady x1
D. D. Assailant x1
Banisher of the Radiance x3
Bazoo the Soul-Eater x1
Chaosrider Gustaph x1
Exiled Force x1
Spells: 13
Soul Absorption x2
Chaos End x3
Grand Convergence x2
Chaos Greed x1
Soul Release x2
Graceful Charity x1
Giant Trunade x1
Dimensional Fissure x1
Traps: 7
Macro Cosmos x3
Torrential Tribute x1
Mirror Force x1
Return from the Different Dimension x2

Now, granted, that looks rather situational. And it is. The entire deck revolves around removing cards from play. But at the same time, it grants massive advantage to the one who can pull it off well. Don't believe me? Try

this.
While Macro Cosmos is on the field:
Soul Absorption gives you 500 for every card lost, for both players.
D. D. Survivor can't die.
You can blow away all monsters and inflict 300 damage to the opponent (grand

convergence)

This deck does, admittedly, take a long time to gain momentum. But once it does... look out.
Your opponent will gape as you destroy the entire monster field, only to have your D. D. Survivor come back. They will gnash their teeth in frustration as every card they play brings you life points. And they will quiver with fear when you bring out your Gren Maju da Eiza after clearing their M/T's and annihilating them with your enormous RFG pile.
When Chaos End is activated, you can clear their field for a minimum 2800 ATK Gren Maju. and 2800 is nothing to sneeze at.
Try it... you might like it.
Keep it cool y'all.
Chaosmech
