Trading Card Game Tips from fans

From: Bhret Luscombe
Subject: Chimeratech Combo and Deck - Bhret in PA

Hello Pojo goers,

I bet most people do not know this one.

Here's the situation:

I play Future fusion dumping Cyber Phoenix and all my

machines for Chimeratech. On the next turn I set Call

of the Haunted. Now it is my stand-by phase, how can I

save Chimeratech from destroying itself?

Simple, chain Call to Chimeratech's destruction effect

targeting Cyber Phoenix. Call resolves first,

summoning Cyber Phoenix, which negates Future Fusion.

Everything on your field is destroyed except

Chimeratech. Now attack for game.

Before you all go crazy, I know this works, I have

confirmed it with every judge I could talk to, but I

have not received official confirmation from

upper-deck yet.

Here is my Killer Machine deck that I use and how it

works:

Monsters: 23

Tributes: 7

Jinzo

(I run 1 Trap)

Blowback Dragon x2

(Great form of removal, when it works)

Cyber Dragon x3

(Need them to Fuse for Chimera, Cyber Twin, or

tribute)

Ancient Gear Beast

(love this guy, too bad he is not bigger)

Nontributes: 16

Cyber Phoenix x3

(Let's me attack w/out much worries)

Light Hex Seal x2

(Fuse them on the field or with Overload)

Dekoichi x3

(Draw locomotive)

Magician of Faith

(Who doesn't have one of these?)

Cyber Stein x2

(Can't have a machine deck w/out him)

Cannon Soldier

(Tribute for Last will, or get that last bit of

damage)

Spirit Reaper

(Gotta have the wall, discarding is nice too)

Sangan

(He's helpful)

Exiled Force

(Use the force)

Tree Born Frog

(Lots of tributes and not much setting of S/T)

Magic: 16 (They will always be Magic cards to me)

Future Fusion

(Dump them all)

Overload Fusion x2

(Hello Chimeratech)

Last Will

(Stein time)

Enemy Controller x3

(Most versatile card in the game)

Graceful Charity

(No brainer here)

Giant Trunade x2

(Clear the way)

Heavy Storm

(Usually game after this is played)

MST

(Only one face-down. GG)

Big Bang Shot

(Punch through, removal, and a little boost too who

doesn't like that?)

Limiter Remover

(Now Chimeratech is 24,000)

Premature Burial

(Gotta get back those beaters I dumped)

Megamorph

(You hit me early, now you pay)

Trap: 1

Call of the Haunted

(Use it on Jinzo and giant trunade it back)

Fusions:

Chimeratech Overdragon x2(You don't want to see him)

Cyber end Dragon x2(The end is here)

Gaitling Dragon x2(Got lots of monsters?, not any

more)

Cyber twin dragon x3(Equip him with Big Bang Shot,

ouch!)

Side:(Needs work to stop Monarchs)

D.D. Scout planes x3

Kineticy Soldier x2

Spell Cancellor

Mobius The F Monarch

Morphing Jar

Drilloid

D.D. Warrior Lady

Nobleman of Crossout

Dimension Fusion

Solemn Judgement

Torential Tribute

Ok, so this is how the deck works.

This deck has many weapons at its disposal that strike

quickly and for massive damage: Stein, Cyber-Light

Hex-Cyber twin, and Future-Overload-Chimeratech. Use

Megamorph, Big Bang Shot, or Limiter and you pretty

much have game. If I can't get the quick kill right

away I can stall with Spirit Reaper and Treeborn Frog

or Dekoichi, and Cyber Phoenix and get some extra

cards too.

Defensive cards are almost non-existent in this deck

because they are too slow; Enemy controller is all I

need. It can be used during standby phase from your

hand with Frog to steal your opponent's monster making

it a 1 for 1, for frog returns to the field. Use it

during battle to negate attacks, you can even steal a

Cyber dragon to fuse with Light Hex, or use it to

activate Last Will.

I have been running this deck since POTD and it has

top eighted nearly every week since at my local

tourney, Infinite Quest of BlueBell PA. This deck is

very close to tier 1, but has problems with the

Frog/Monarch/RoTA/Exiled cookie cutters that are so

prevalent this format. I going to keep working on it,

so don't be surprised if I place at the next regional

in PA.

Any suggestions or comments, send to Bhret@yahoo.com

Happy deuling,

Bhret
