The Power of the Weak- Huge Revolution ---Antem A very underlooked series of cards, The Huge Revolution series. Those not familiar with theese cards, they are 3 monsters (Oppessed People, United Resistance, and People Running About) and one trap card (Huge Revolution) Here are the monsters stats for those who do not know of them. People Running About Fire/Pyro Although they always suffer in silence, they swear an oath to inevitably revolt. ATK/600 DEF/600 Oppresed People ATK/400 DEF/2000 United Resistance Wind/Thunder The people that gather to swear to fight their opppressors. A revolution is coming. ATK/1000 DEF/1000 Wow. These three monsters suck don't they? WRONG! You just don't see the true power of them. A power that makes Exodia plotz itself. A power that makes sweet sweet gorilla love to the banned Yata. A power that kicks a duelist in the crotch and then spits in their eye. I'm talking about the power of Huge Revolution. Huge Revolution Trap This card can only be activated during your main phase when "People Running About," "Oppressed People," and "United Resistance," are face-up on your side of the field. Send all cards in your opponent's hand to the Graveyard and destroy all cards your opponent controls on the field. This is the true power of the cards. Imagine, thermo nuking your opponent up the wazoo. A one sided CED blast! Im talking bombs-over-Baghdad-shock-and-awe-nuke-Japan thermo nuclear weaponry. When you pull off HR the duel is yours. Unless they are very lucky, you will win. With them topdecking, and you nailing for 2000 each attack, its game very quick. Now comes the part where I go over the pros/cons/plans for making the HR Deck. CONS Unfortunutly, the HR series is overlooked because of lack luster stats A trap card needed. Those are the only real cons. I know your thinking of one big con, the trap card. But in today's metagame, thats no longer an issue! HFD gone. MST and Storm are at 1. Dust Tornado is the only threat. So you see, the m/t removal is no longer an issue. As for lack luster stats... well we'll get to that in a moment. PROS Nuke your opponent's hand and field All 3 mon different types Stall tactics 101 Need I explain why nuking your opponent is good? I didn't think so. As for 3 mon types, effective against a TIV. They need to drop 3 cards to kill all 3. Stall Tactics? Covering that now. COMBOS Heres where I truly will explain why the HR deck is viable. You see in advance, the main deck is burner. You know it. Iknow it. We all do. With Chaos being crotch kicked by CED banned, and all magor m/t banned or restricted, Burners exploded onto the scene from nowhere! Howevr, theres a select reason they sprung out of nowhere, and its in harnessing the power of burn HR comes to life. Im talking about Gravity Bind, Messenger of Peace, Level Limit- Area B, Stumbling, Gora Turtle, etc. The cards that stop your opponent from attacking are what HR harnesses for its own power. In fact, you can easily make an HR deck, by only minorly modifying a burner deck. But do you see how easy it is? A good Burner can stop there opponet from attacking first turn, and keep it that way the whole duel. So why not bring in the HR? Other cards which are a must in HR are Ultimate Offering, Cyber Jar, and Morphing Jar#2. UO to quickly drop the 3 monsters to rbing on the Revolution. Cyber Jar, same way. MJ#2 is used to gut the opponents deck and bring out the pieces. And with AST and SOD we were introduced to a large armada of cards to assist in bringing back theese 'weaker' normal monsters. SO that was a large assist. Now comes the part where I introduce to you an HR deck Monsters 3x People Running About 3X Oppressed People 3x United Resistance 1x Cyber Jar 2x Morphing Jar #2 2x Masks of Darkness 2x Lava Golem 2x Stealth Bird 3x Giant Soldiers of Stone 1x Fiber Jar Trap 3x Huge Revolution 3x Gravity Bind 2x Wabakou 1x Call of the Haunted 3x Magic Drain 2X Ultimate Offering Magic/Spell 3x Level Limit Area B 2x Messenger of Peace 1x Pot of Greed 3x Chrous of Sanctuary 1x Premature Burial 2x Dark Factory of Mass Production And there is a feasable HR deck. As you can see, its really a slight spin off of a Burn deck which is doing quite well as of late. And this comes to the end of my HR deck theory. Love it? Hate it? Email me and tell why so animorphs17@hotmail.com This is Antem and Im out of here
