From: lordtranorix [lordtranorix@mail.pojo.com] Mirror Wall uses - by MrXentrix Mirror Wall "Decrease the ATK of all your opponent's attacking monsters by half. You must pay 2000 Life Points during each of your Standby Phases. If you cannot, this card is destroyed." This is an overlooked card that is often misinterpreted. Contrary to what a lot of people believe, the maintenance cost of the card may seem steep but what they forget is that it is optional. So what do we have? With a 1500 ATK+ monster aboard, it's basically a Sakuretsu and Waboku put into one. When your opponent thinks they're smart in attacking your monster your monster that has lower attack. They find themselves with a massive drop in ATK points and get horribly killed in the process. Then the rest of your opponent's monsters just stare at your monsters and become reluctant to strike. Turn ends. You've just turned the game around and hopefully the monster they just rammed into has some sort of neat effect when it inflicts battle damage. Like for instance: Needle Burrower - 1700 ATK <---and my personal favorite "When this card destroys a monster and sends it to the Graveyard as a result of battle, inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x 500 points." -I once had an opponent dump BEWD and premature it on one turn and attemped to kill my Needle Burrower with it. Big mistake as I activated Mirror Wall, his BEWD was slaughtered, took 4000 damage to Needle Burrower's effect and also an additional 200 from spill over damage. 3000/2 > 1700 = 4200 pain Another card that comes into mind is also Horus LV4: 1600 ATK "As long as this card remains face-up on your side of the field, control of this card cannot switch. During the End Phase of a turn that this card destroyed a monster as a result of battle, send this card to the Graveyard to Special Summon 1 "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" from your hand or Deck. " -It's pretty simple, and yes even Blue Eyes would get horribly owned and Horus levels up. Stone Statue of the Aztecs - 2000 DEF "Any Battle Damage your opponent takes when he/she attacks this monster is doubled. -When a monster with low attack attacks your Statue, slap on Mirror Wall and watch them cry. There are many other cards but I'm not going to write the full strategy for them all, so I'm just going to list them: -Ghost Knight of the Jackal <---works well when your opponent has lots of high level tributes. -Mystical Knight of the Jackal -Airknight Parshath -Mefist the Infernal General -Don Zaloog -KA-2 Des Scissors I'm sure there are tons of other more interesting cards that combo with Mirror Wall, just creative and DO LOTS OF RESEARCH! That concludes my tip. Thanks for reading Mirror Wall uses, my first CCG tip. -MrXentrix, you can contact me via Xentrix@rcn.com
