NEVER base a deck around countering 1 monster... with 2400 and being a tribute monster it really isn't that reliable now-a-days AKA since no one uses traps, why use Jinzo... Side deck it please... now on to the tip After buying my DCR booster box I found a bunch of trap cards that really work well with the old and new... here we go By the way... any similarity to another persons trick or combo is purely coincidental, ok... 1. EXODIA: THE RETURN FROM THE DIFFERENT DIMESNION Mwahahahahhahahaahaa... Blah... Exodia, plus its necro form aren't the only threats now... meet MAJOR RIOT!!! (an oldy by the way) Returns all monsters on the field to the hand when a monster is moved from the field to the hand. How is this usefull... meet RETURN FROM THE DIFFERENT DIMENSION MWaahahahhhaahahaha.... Blah... ahem Dump the Exodia Pieces out of play and activate RftDD... put them all on the field... then remove one to the hand (or an opponents monster) and they all go to the hand... the summoning requirement of Major Riot IS optional... you win... you only need Major Riot, RfrDD on the field... Exodia out of play and ANY card that moves monsters from the field to the hand to satisfy Major Riot... Situational YES... But VERY unexpected By the way... inferno tempest is a good way to remove exodia Inferno Tempest DOES activate if you SUICIDE ATTACK... know this 2. Stank Defender (Stauch Defender) Ok, meet my 2 STAPLE TRAPS (they are staples in my book) Staunch Defender and Ojama Trio, both traps... say you have a strong monster on the field and you play Scapegoat... anything to prompt your opponent to attack... play Stauch defender to stop their attack.... CHAIN OJAMA TRIO!!!.... now they MUST attack you (I checked) and kill themselves... best off, they take 1900/2300 (from your ASoldier or GAF) and they immediately take 5700/6900 (6600/7800 due to their effect) plus the damage from their first monster. for a simple 3 card combo... plus you can activate MORE OJAMA TRIO!!!... keep them attacking you... 3. K, you can do the math on this one... play Asura Priest and either Big Bang Shot or Fairy Meteor Crush to add PIERCING(trample) to Asura Priest... then play da da da DAAAAA!!!! OJAMA TRIO AGAIN!!!! Attack their tokens first and then... PLAY IT AGAIN (if you have it) Mwahaahahaahah!!!! (actually this one was inspired by one of the Card of the Day reviews for scapegoat) 4. Metalmorph... plain and simple... may as well say, reduce the ATK of all opponents monsters by Half... the only Equip trap (power-wise, thus excluding CotH) worth playing... Excelent addition to Stauch Defender, since they ALL will be reduced... Thats all, but for an outro... I think I'll give a minor piece of advise As I was watching a local tournament I saw a kid successfully Yata-Lock another player... that player gave up, even though he still had 6800 LP Now whats wrong with this... The LOCKER had only 10 cards left in his deck... had the players waited the LOCKER would have decked out(unless something changed)... the morale of the story... NEVER GIVE UP!!!
