[mastermind_mv@msn.com] Graveyard removal combo and some sub combos for a crushing win - Mike Vleminckx Now i'm pretty new at the game but i already knew a lot about it before i started playing. Stil don't flame me if i make some mistakes. Also english is not my native language. Now at the moment i'm yust playing with my friend. I was changing my deck a little with his help. I want to go for a chaos deck but until i got the right cards i'm satesfied with a bit of a mixed deck centered around removing cards from play. And i stumbeled on a great combo. Now you can play this combo a bit differently and if you cant get it each card stil isn't bad (i sugest running it in a chaos deck though since they already remove a lot of cards). What you need is 1 Soul release (or more), 1 Skull lair, 1 or more soul absorption and a return from difirent dimension (A dimension fusion might be better but i dont have it and never read the card itself). Also its better getting this late in the game. Now first you get your soul absorbtion, skull Lair and RFTDD on the field and then activate your soul release on your OWN gravejard. make sure your Soul absorption is face up. this wil give you 2500 life points in case things go wrong. Then you flip your skul lair and remove any cards on the opponents side from the field using its effect. They have to be face up but you problaby are going to use this when your losing so its unlikely that he has face down monsters. Now having a grand maju da eiza in your hand wouldn't be bad either. You can also remove the monsters with skul lair but the opponent might not have enough monsters and that soul release comboed with soul absorption might lure him in to using his M/T removals. This way you can keep skul lair as a back up. The monsters could also already be removed by other effects like the chaos monsters. Now that the opponent has no monsters on the field and probably no M/T removals you activate your RFTDD. Special summon the 5 best removed monsters and go for the kill. This should usualy be enough for an instant kill. You do lose half your lifepoints this way but you don't need them after your opponents beaten. Now cards working good with this are grand maju da eiza, any M/T removals to prottect your combo, chaos monsters and any of the new sphinxes ( i use one but have no idea how to get piramid of light) because it only says no special summon from the graveyard. From removed from play isn't a problem. I'll explain the cards you need in detail now exept RFTDD because there hs been a recent revieuw in the cards of the day section and Dimension fusion might be better. Soul release Magic card "select up to 5 cards from either YOU or your opponents graveyard and remove them fom play" A wel known card i gues. Always comes in handy. Using 2 of these at the moment. Soul absorbtion continuous magic (i think i spelled this wrong) "Each time a card is removed from play, the controller of this card increases its life points by 500 points" Now thats 2500 using soul release and with other removals even more. Seriously its not a bad card. You dont realy need it for the combo but if your going to pay half your lifepoints and you fail the combo its better to increase them first. Skull Lair continuous Trap "Remove any number of cards in your graveyard from play. Destroy 1 face-up monster whos stars are equal to the number of cards removed from play" A good card in thight situations. Its also continuous so u can use it over and over again. Dont overuse it though an empty graveyard can come back and haunt u. Also great to get your Maju his extra power. Gren maju da eiza level 3 monster fire/fiend "The ATK and DEF of this card become the number of your cards removed from x 400 points" Now this fits in any chaos deck and certainly can combo with al the cards i described. Yust use soul release on yourself and you got a 2000 attacker and defender. It gets even higher over time with chaos monsters and other card removals (I use 2 at the moment and plan on using 1 in my chaos deck). its also level 3 witch attacks under gravety bind (my friend uses it) and isnt affected by a four starred lady bug (my friends brother got an insect deck so go figure). The only thing bad about it in my deck or a chaos deck is that it isn't dark. Now anybody that can improve my combo or know more cards to go with it please email me about it.
