Flipping you the Bird-Rant on Yata

Hey all, I'm not necessarily a bad duelist. But definitely not the best either; I've won my share of tournaments and la-dee-da, WITHOUT YATA. This is also going toward some of the tournament deck reports I've seen. Any half-wit duelist knows that throwing in a Spirit Reaper and Yata-Garasu isn't control. Ahem, I repeat: Yata+Reaper isn't control. Whether you like to think it or not. Have you no originality? I know it's an easy way to win, but I don't think you should stress it. I'm personally glad to see Yata being cycled out only because of it's complete over-usage. Did you ever think of making a different lock deck? Like Dark Ruler, Canceller and Jinzo? It's a little harder to pull off, but still just as powerful. Or even a more unlikely situation, catching an opponent off guard with a simple low-level monster and attacking it over and over again with Mystical Knight of Jackal? There are other locks. What I'm trying to say from all this is let's be a little more creative and keep the bird in its cage. Let's try some more unconventional locks and/or just flat out completely different decks. People shouldn't rely on locking someone to just win, personally, I think it's just a coward's way to win a duel, no offense to those who actually do utilize Yata into the way he was intended to be. Thanks, go ahead and write me, agree, disagree, agree to disagree or just flat out hate. I'm open.
