Rant on CCG Tips Section ~ zealotpker

This is just a rant on what has been getting into the CCG Tips section lately.  First off, EVERYWHERE I see beatdown bashing.  Everyone is going on and on like it's some huge debate or argument or fight or whatever, and beatdown isn't even the DOMINANT DECK THEME! Nor is it even one of the dominant deck themes.

Second off, people keep posting combos that are

A. Pointless
B. Illegal
C. Useless
D. Impossible to pull off
E. Not combos
F. etc. ...

I really feel that even if DM7, not Prof, is putting up the CCG tips, the rule should still apply that "combos" like these shouldn't be posted.

A second request, which I doubt will happen, is that perpetually recurring rants (almost EVERY SINGLE ONE) should be banned/not posted.  If you're gonna post things like this, at least post them on the message board and not here.  If you have a rant other than against beatdown, for beatdown, against rich kids, or against people against rich kids, then I might want to hear it, and everyone else might want to hear it, but until then, just PLEASE STOP POSTING STUPID THINGS.

Oh yeah, and just to get you people to stop making pointless tips/rants:

A "combo" is only worth posting if all of these are true:

It involves cards that actually work together (not raigeki followed up by attacking with yata).

It requires 3 cards or less.

It doens't require your opponent to do anything.

You aren't adding in extra cards that don't do anything (for example, Token Thanksgiving + Ojama Trio + Tremendous Fire isn't what should be posted; Token Thanksgiving + Ojama Trio is what SHOULD be posted).

Lord of D. + Flute IS NOT a combo.

It doesn't require restricted cards (unless there are other cards that can achieve the same desired effect).

It is LEGAL.

Also, PLEASE READ THE CARD TEXT AND MAKE SURE SOMETHING IS LEGAL before making comments on it.  You can use the link to the Netrep Files for this.  READING THE CARD also helps.

Beatdowns are NOT the dominant deck theme, nor are they even Tier 1.  Stop acting like they are.

If you got this far, you probably read my above comments.  I would thank you.  My e-mail is vze39myj@verizon.net.  Hopefully this will inspire some level of change from the current bedlam that is known as the CCG Tips section.
