ok, yea, i can under stand everyone has their own views about cards, players etc but hey? why rant- sure, post your views on a card. but c'mon, players?? these are people? if someone is a bad duelist, and after you completely run runpant over them, and you laugh at them and called them a n00b; or even think that you are superior and post it all over the pojo site just because you think you know best. Then you are wrong, completely- wrong.

i know youve probably heard this a thousand times, but ill say it again, you were a n00b once. you made mistakes- but youve learnt from them. If all the new player out there, left. yu gi oh would become boring, and no fun anymore. and would eventually die. as veteren players leave, new players take their place and people that have never played before take up the game. those who play the game like a life or death situation, c'mon lighten up, have some fun. And if you lose, learn from it, dont yell and shout and call them a cheat etc, learn. You can probably find the thing you did wrong and fix it for your next duel, remember there is always tomorrow

if you run a deck, simply because evryone else thinks it is the best deck, but hey, every deck has its weakness, and if you choose to run that deck, yes it is your choice, but someone else may think that it is not the best deck, simply put- there is no best deck, lets take a chaos deck- a last turn deck would run allllll over it, bring out you hard worked for CED, whoops solumn judgment cya CED. Another example, hand control- can be beaten buy a quickly field control deck, or visa-versa.

in a bit of a summary, it is not the deck that makes the duelist- but the duelist that makes the deck, bringing me to my next point cards

Ye ok, you may say a card sucks and why run it? well here's sumthin for ya then- I WILL PROOVE YOU WRONG, EACH CARD HAS POTENTIAL AND NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO, I WILL PROOVE THAT THAT CARD CAN SUCCESSFULLY BE PUT IN A DECK, A WINNING DECK AT THAT

and example? skull servant- ok with stats of 300/200, no effect, people would normally just look over it as "a waster of paper". so how can this seeminly unusable card be used? lets look closer, its a zombie! its dark! and itsa common; simply, easy chaos food, and cheap too. its also an alternative discard choice, personally i wouldnt run this outside a chaos deck, and yes there are probably better cards out there, but if your on a budget and have chaos monsters- say hi to your food.

now to the best example of the lot, the most 'useless' card of the lot.... gate gaurdian; the chances are you will never summon one of these (i did once, shallow grave, monster reborn and a prem burial) but on a bit of a brighter note, the parts are kinda good. now im going to TRY an explain how to run a gate gaurdian deck (a.k.a gg deck- since you prolly wont win)

O.k. try running 2 suijins, and 1 of each other piece, you need painful choice and all the reborn possible. the idea is to play a legendary ocean, making suijin a 1 sac 2600/2700 monster, and painful choise the other guys into the grave, and revive them wif monster reborn, call of the hainted etc. and bring out gate gaurdian. But you'd prolly be better off keeping it serparate, and inflicting in excess of 7000 damamge direct (i think, if not sumthing like 7500). Running a gate guardian deck requires skill, and a lot of skill at that- so i wuddnt advise someone just starting out to try it (you can if you want)- thus prooving that gate guardian IS usuable
