The Heart of the Cards-Fact or Fiction? It's me, back with another rather opinionated article. this one deals with "the heart of the cards" and all the other dramatic stuff you see today. Like my Duel Monsters role model Seto Kaiba, i think the heart of the cards is a whole load of BS. o yeah, yugi's a worthless kid that looks like a drowned sewer rat, but yami kicks butt, but ill save that for later. i just cant talk about Kaiba without mentioning the fact that Kaiba's rival is NOT yugi, it's yami. there's a big difference. one's an annoying kid, the other's a kick-@$$ guy from ancient times. but anyhow, on with my article. I see a lot of people at tournaments that like close their eyes and concentrate and recite chants and stuff before drawing their cards, especially when theyre in a tight spot. well here's a little fact of science for you: no matter what you do, say, or think, you CAN NOT change what the next card you draw is(unless you're cheating, of course). Now, many people get too worked up about yugioh. when it comes down to it people, remember, IT'S JUST A FUN CARD GAME!! if all the heart of the cards gibberish is fun, knock yourself out, just know that it isnt actually real. by the way, my next article will deal with other situations of people getting too hyped up over the game in other ways, but right now im just talking the heart of the cards stuff. anyway, if its fun for you, then whatever. but also remember the person you're playing with. dont get so involved in your little chants and stuff you totally annoy the other person. remember, you're just supposed to have fun, not be a jerk and ruin everyone else's fun. As usual, my email is seanslcars@comcast.net. love mail, hate mail, i dont care, i love reading both of them! and since i get a lot of requests for this, my a/s/l is 18/m/nh(any girls in my age area and location area, please note that in the title of your email:)
