Ultimate Rant + Future of Yugioh!

Well, well you may be wondering what this "ultimate" rant could be. Maybe I am complaning about people's unoriginality, how yugioh is unfair, or what I think a cool combo is. A long time ago someone wrote a tip on yugioh stating everything I wanted to say about what was wrong with people who played yugioh, and it taught them freaking strategy.

I AM SICK! of people saying that other people are unoriginal. I run a chaos control down here in south florida. Pride aside I think here we are the best in the country. I read people's posts on pojo stating that they play to have fun or how hard the mall tour UDE people are. The truth is..................YOU SUCK!. If you cant beat those poor losers at the mall tour you stink. Seriously you can measure a duelist by the quality of his deck. If you see a swords of revealing light in there still or a stupid common card like sakretsu armor then you can imidiately tell the duelist isnt that good. You dont know how im dying to scream out about how people in yugioh cant build decks and how lightly they take tournament play.....

Please dont go to a tournament saying you can win with a necrovalley deck or a beatdown deck. the reason people play control (and now chaos) everywhere is because it is the best. Now if you play any of those crappy ass theme decks like exodia, necro, i dont know...butterfly dagger? You may be saying to yourself "O, I could beat you". See the plain truth is that most people say they are the best, but they r just full of it. But the truth of I and other people in south florida is plainly this; "WE ARE BETTER THAN YOU AND WE WILL BEAT YOU". I am not being proud, or overzealous but its the plain truth. Go to a regional tournamnet, or a tournament down here in Super Heroes Unlimited (If you live in the Miami area, 163rd st NE 18th ave by aventura mall) and you'll get raped. As simple as that if you play for fun or are too self confident you wont make it past the first round in a regional tournament. The deck is too important, Japanese players play chaos because its the best. The best players in America play chaos because its the best. Sorry to say but that is yugioh. If you are a good player you will play the best deck. Note- If you are really a competetive player the only common in your deck should be magical scientist, and at this point in yugioh you should literally have no room in your deck for a different magic or trap card. This is one of the ingredients in the yugioh recipe of success. Yugioh is about hand advantage. When ever you play a card it should either eliminate an opponents card of the field (MST, mirror force, etc1 for 1), should give you card advantage ( Delinquent Duo 1 for 2) or should be chainable (Mst or Waboku).

PEOPLE BE SMART ON HOW YOU BUILD YOUR DECKS! A BEST RULE IS 16 MONSTERS, 6 TRAPS, AND 20 MAGIC CARDS (I will not be phased by the name "spell card"). Play deck you can win with, screw combos that cost you around three cards and only do like 2000 damage to your opponent. For the love of God please be smart about your decks, build a good chaos deck if you have the money, a control deck if you have no chaos monsters, or stick to your stupid theme decks that win your cheap tournaments in the Iowa farms. As a promise go to the national championships (if you get an invitation) and see the competition, you'll have no chance.

Now moving on to a lighter note, Yugioh has two paths, either it will blow up and become even more popular (because of the new cash prizes) or will plummet to hell, just like pokemon. My advise if get rid of your crappy yugioh holos like orca the whale or big burn and just keep your deck and staples to trade like mirror force, or breaker. Seriously if you live in Miami come down to super heroes it really fun, good prizes and the tornament is free.

If you have any questions about your deck, how to make a better one, or just wanna talk, you can AIM me at prjctedanarchy or email me at lynxzed@hotmail.com (I need to change the email eventually) . Peace
