Subject: Is Sacrificing monsters to summon Lvl 5-8 monsters still used?

Sup again everyone.  The game has been doin great and
with legacy of darkness out, new strategies and
tactics are increasing. But now lets talk about the
one of the rules that was most popular when we very
fisrt started "tribute or sacrificing."  As you kno,
it was common when we were just rookies and now some
ppl still play them but are they still useful in the
current game?  Since some monsters like a hayabusa
knight pumped up with 2 axes of despairs can defeat a
summoned skull or a jinzo or a maha vailo also with 2
axes can defeat a blue eyes. Sure if it wasnt for high
level monsters like blue eyes or summoned skull tehy
wouldnt have made this game great or fun.  But now i
havent seen that many ppl use that many lvl 7-8 or
even lvl 5-6 tribute monsters.  The only tribute i see
is Jinzo.  Reason is that hes consider the most useful
monster for his ability to negate traps and as you kno
traps were useful in the beginning. Some of my firends
dont use that many tributes and just use special
summoned monsters like the Rock Spirit, Aqua Spirit or
Dark Necrofear.  The current metagame is mostly
beating the crap out of your opponent with high
attacking monsters(or just bust out a whole bunco of
monsters on the field, summon hayabusa, equip with
United We Stand & Mage Power and overkill your
opponent).  I kno some of you will complain but it
true, not many ppl will sac 1 or 2 monsters(unless
needed to) since with graceful charity or any other
magic card that discard cards, they can discard that
jinzo or barrel dragon and then use monster reborn,
call of the haunted or premature burial to bring them
back. And it is common in my tourneys.  So all and all 
tributing monsters for bringing out stronger monsters 
is still being used but nowadays not everyone will do it.  
If you feel like u need to say somethin, if its a good or 
a bad comment(non-threatening) then go right ahead.
