Subject: Lowbudget strategy. BiglBob. I just saw a recent deck running low budget cards, well in my opinnion, a deck composed of 2 starters sets and less than 8 boosters could be better than that. My deck is built from about 2 starters and a few boosters too, yet I have confidence on beating the person who sent the low-budget tip. No offense meant. Here are a few tips for getting good cards even if you only buy a few packs: -constantly 'beg' for cards from your 'rich' friends -rip people off in trades -buy boosters when they first come out in 1st edition (you have better chances of getting nice cards that way, it's a guarantee) -or bend the booster packs a bit, there's a rumour that packs with holos in them are harder to bend (I know these are pretty lowly ways to get good cards, but hey, do what you have to) Now, just for reference, here is my low-budget deck that I used with the 'tactics' above and the starter sets. (by the way, I had also ripped off a guy with a dark magician and a few other crappy cards to get a raigeki. I also won a magic cylinder in a game of keeps. But I lost both of these cards due to two duels of keeps for I wagered both of these in 2 duels for a mirror force, thinking I could win :( ) Monsters requiring tributes: Blue eyes Summoned Skull Summoned Skull Relinquished Dark Ruler Hades 5 cards in total. Normal monsters: Harpie's brother Harpie's brother Giant soldier of Stone Island turtle Seven colored fish Gearfried Thunder Nyan Nyan 7 cards in total. Effect monsters: Witch of the black forest Morphing Jar #2 Sangan Hane-Hane Man-eater bug Penguin Soldier Magician of faith Mask of Darkness Princess of Tsurugi Kuriboh 10 cards in total. Magic cards: Messenger of Peace Scapegoat Fissure Mystical Space Typhoon Giant Trunade Card Destruction Offerings to the Doomed Heavy Storm Monster Reborn Graceful Charity Change of Heart Dark Hole Bait Doll Ekibyo Drakmord Black Illusion Ritual (damn the Raigeki) 15 cards in total. Trap cards (damn the magic cylinder): Fake trap (I don't like solemn wishes) Trap hole Seven Tools of the Bandit Seven Tools of the Bandit Magic Jammer Solemn Judgement Waboku Call of the Haunted Ominous Fortunetelling Just Desserts 11 cards in total. TOTAL: 48 (I need a bit of deck management, I'm probably not putting in some goods cards I have that's pretty nice, but O well) As you can see above, this is a pretty cool deck isn't it? Althought I'm considering taking out BEWD and Relinquished. Can't you imagine back to the time when I had my magic cylinder and raigeki? I was pretty good back then. And still am now actually. Because in my opinnion, a good deck is important, but having the right dueling skills is equally as important too. I have developed a sharp mind for doing most things I constantly do, and I duel at least forty-five minutes a day, and I think that's the key to winning. Back to the main topic, yes, I did buy under 10 boosters and 2 starter sets, how did I get my hand on those wicked cards? Call of the Haunted...Heavy storm...? I surely didn't steal, so that's for you to figure out.
