Subject: A mistake in today's CotD: A Legendary Ocean
In today's Card of the Day, you reviewed "A Legendary Ocean," a Field Magic Card which downgrades WATER monsters in both field and hand by 1 level and increases their ATK and DEF by 200.  Two of the reviewers, SomeGuy and Adam F. made what I feel is a critical mistake regarding what the card can do when used with The Legendary Fisherman.

At last we finally get the better version of Umi. This is the exact card The Legendary Fisherman has been waiting for. A level 4 with 2050 ATK and an amazing Effect is nothing to be taken lightly.

What is it with UD and cards that help Water-type monsters?

Hang on... let me check...

Oh, look, Legendary fisherman can be summoned without a tribute, and it still gets its effect, and it gets a bonus

I hope you can see the clear problem here.  The Legendary Fisherman, while in a player's hand, does get downgraded to Level 4.  However, once it hits the field, its effect kicks in and it is no longer effected by Magics, such as A Legendary Ocean.  This means that it does NOT gain the 200 ATK and DEF boost from Ocean and it returns to being Level 5.

I normally don't bother with this stuff.  However, I feel in this case it's important and worth speaking up about because, if players use your reviews to learn how some cards work, this can cause major problems, since people will think that TLF will have 2050 ATK when it shouldn't.

I don't know what you do in this situation, but I feel you at least should know.
