Subject: Create decks that are fun Hey. This is my first time doin' a strategy, so please NO HATE MAIL OR CRITICISM!!!!! Well, this game is starting to get boring because of lack of creativity. I see the same old beatdown deck. ex: I used my Relinquished control deck and started to cream duelists left and right. then one of the duelist i beat made an exact copy of my deck and BEAT ME!!! But enough about me. It's time for the tip!!! I'm gonna help out with making your deck more creative. This is part one of the Trilogy; Character Decks. Right now, I used a "Hip Hop Honeys" Deck composed of the best female cards in the game. You might think that I'm nuts, but it is very powerful and FUN!!! This deck is mixed japanese/english. I just added some of those Gemini Elfs, Injection Angel Lily, Forgiven Madien, Kuribohs(for my Dark Necrofear), Princess of Tsurugi, Fire Princess, St. Joan, Harpies Lady SB, and Cosmo Queen. For magic and trap cards I added some staples and other cards to fit the deck like Elegant Egotist(for my HLS), wabuko, solemn wishes, mirror wall, malevolent nuzzler, and graceful charity. You can't believe how many duels i won with this deck. There are many different Types of decks you can use. Character Yugi/ Yami: This is no more than a Dark Magician/Magnet Valkarion deck. This deck is based on combos and support cards. Dark Magician and Magic Cylinder are added because they are magic related. Buster Blader is Yugi's answer to Kabia's Blue Eyes. I would have to say that the Heavy Hitter is the Black Paladin. THIS CARD ROCKS!! A dragon boost and a permanent Magic Jammer effect. Need I say more? Kabia: His deck is a pure power deck. Kaiba has Maha Vailo (on the episode with the robot duelist), Vorse Raider the Man Beast(aka Blood Vors), and La Jinn for his strong level 4s. Kaiba uses his Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon as his strongest "legal monster." Kaiba also uses the cool Vampire Lord. Not only does this monster keep coming back from the grave during each standby phase it is in the graveyard, but it can cause your opponent to destroy a card in their deck whenever it does damage. Kaiba also has some anti-monster cards like Deck Destruction Virus of Death. Joey: He has a wimpy deck(don't HURT ME FOR SAYIN" THIS). He has mostly warrior/beast/beast warrior cards, but his deck really improves by Battle City. He uses the cool Panther Warrior, Alligator Sword Dragon(which can do direct damage depending on the type of monster on your opponent's side of the field), and Gearfried the Iron Knight. Joey also has some risk cards like Roulette Spider and Time Wizard. Joey also has some suprise cards like the Jinzo he won from Espa Roba, Magic Arm Shield, and Giant Trunade. By the time Joey faces Marik in the Battle City final rounds, he uses his heavy hitter Gilford the Lightning. May i say that this card is the best Warrior tribute monster in the game. You can tribute 3 monsters to special summon gilford out of your hand onto the field to destroy all of your opponent's monsters. You can still normal tribute summon it, but why? This monster has 2900 attack and 1400 defense, meaning that the Witch can get it. Mai: Her deck is based on the Harpies Lady. This is a playable card but it has low attack. Same thing with Harpies Pet Dragon. Her harpies deck was too equip-dependent. Mai's battle city deck is a little different. She still runs harpies, but she begins to use Amazon cards. We only got a few amazon cards, but when ones like the Amazon Martial Artists come out this deck will be played more. I would wait to play Mai's deck when Harpies Lady SB comes out. the HLSB is pretty much a female harpies brother. Speaking of Harpies Brother, this card has nothin' to do with Harpies Lady; its japanese name was Birdman. (stupid upperdeck name changes) Tea: she just had one duel. She depends on fairies. There are some powerful fairies out, like Hysteric Fairy and wingweaver and tin the near future Injection Fairy Lily and Ruler of Heaven Shinato, but nothing to make a deck out of. Rex Raptor: He uses a dinosaur/dragon deck with powerups. His main hitter is the Serpent Night Dragon. Weevil Underwear(i mean Underwood): I hate this guy. He uses cheap tricks. In duelist kingdom, he focused on getting the Great Moth on the field. But Summoned Skull took care of that. In Battle city, weevil uses the parasite/insect barrier combo to stop Joey in his tracks. Weevil went one step futher and Summoned the 3500 attack Perfectly Evolved Great Moth(yes this is a real card but nearly impossible to find). Weevil's main Hitter is the Insect Queen. Don't use this deck unless you know what you are doing. Bandit Keith: his deck is too cool. He uses Machines. His heavy hitter against Joey was the Barrel Dragon. This card is too cool for words. Keith also uses clever tricks. he also has the 3000 attack metal zoa in his deck. Against Yugi, Keith still used machines like cyber jar, mechanical chaser, and machine king. Keith also uses counter traps like magic jammer and solemn judgement. Keith's heavy hitter against Yugi was his Ritual Fiend monster Zera the Mant. With 2800 attack, Zera was a force to be reckoned with. Pegasus: Pegasus uses cards to annoy his opponent. He uses his toon monsters, which are very cute but also very powerful. Pegasus's main Hitter was the gross Thousand Eyes Restrict. This monster stops all other monsters from attacking and takes control of one of your opponent's monsters. Pegasus's deck is a good one to use to annoy your opponents. Mako Tsunami: Mako has a pretty decent deck. He loves fish. Mako uses Umi(why not just use Legendary City of Atlantis), Torrential Tribute, and Return of the Doom as his main magic and trap cards. He also uses tornado wall, which stops damage to his life points. Mako's main hitters are the freaky looking Legendary Fisherman and the Fortress Whale. Bakura: he uses some creepy and powerful cards. You just gotta love his white magical hats and morphing jar. Bakura uses his Occult Deck in Battle city. Bakura uses mostly fiends so he can get the hauntingly beautiful Dark Necrofear onto the field. Bakura uses the Oujia Board aka the Destiny Board to try to get the auto-win. You don't need to miss his next duel with yugi. Para and Dox: They use a tag stategy. they use labyrinth wall and Wall shadow. They also have the cool magic card Ryoku, which reduces your oponent's lp in half and gives that boost to one of their monsters. The brother's main hitter is the Gate Guardian. This card is nearly impossible to get on the field, but it is one of the most powerful monsters in the game. Johnny Steps: He has an original deck. He uses music monsters like the Spirit of the Harp, Water Omotics, and his main hitter the Musician King. He uses Chorus of the Sancturary and Metalmorph to boost his monsters. Rare Hunter Dude: he uses a defensive exodia deck. he has high defenders like Gear Golem the moving fortress, a 2200 defense level 4. He also has cards for drawing power like Graceful Charity, and Swords of Revealing Light for stalling reasons. Arkana: he uses a dark magician deck. He uses cards to get his dark magician out fast. He also uses dark magician acessory cards. Umbra and Lumis: This is one of my favorite decks because of its creativity. this team uses mask cards to boost up their monsters and weaken their opponents' monsters. They use the insanely powerful masked beast. Their strongest monster is the all-powerful Des Guardius. This card has 3300 attack and when it goest to the graveyard, take control of one of your opponent's monsters. Espa Roba: Espa uses high-tech cards in his duels. His Fiend Megacyber and Reflect Bounder are good cards. Espa's heavy hitter is Jinzo, and we all know about Jinzo. He also uses Amplifier, a magic card which gives the equip monster a 500 point attack boost and 300 point attack boost doing each of his standby phases. Strings the Quiet One: Strings uses his slime monsters. Strings's deck is based around the Saint Dragon. this card gets 1000 attack and defense points for each card in his hand. Since there is a hand limit, Strings uses infinite hands so he can exceed the 6 card limit. Since you can't use Osiros, use muka muka because it has a similar effect. Marik: I don't know much about his deck except he uses dark monsters. His main monster is the Wing Dragon of Ra. enough said. Man, that was a mouthful. If you like a character, try to create a deck just like theirs and try it out in a duel. The next part in the series is going to be deck types. Good luck building your decks and have fun!!
