Subject: An Underrated Card - Conspire007 Hey Pojoers, It's the infamous Conspire007 here! This is my first tip, but i am an active forum participant and i write tourny reports whenever i have the time. Today i want to take about one of the most underrated cards in the game. Ultimate Offering (UO). I have started trends in 2 gaming stores with this card. I hope that you pojoers will listen to my advice and consider it in your deck. Ultimate Offering reads: "at the cost of 500 life points per monster, a player is allowed an extra normal summon or set." This, however, can be very confusing. So we go to the UD official ruling to find out exactly what it does. When i first read the ruling, it made my mouth drop and i put an ultimate offering in my deck right away. The ruling says that the effect of the card only works for the owner of the card. It also says that you may continue to summon monsters without any limit until all monster card zones are full as long as you continue to pay 500 lifepoints for each extra monster you summon. Also, it is important to know that your one regular summon/set per turn does NOT cost 500 LP. That said, you must certainly know the combo potential this card has. This card can do many things. (1) This card can set up your final blow. Laying down 4 monsters in one turn is devestating if your opponent doesnt have the proper defense. Our only concern here is mirror force. For this, we can either keep a 7 tools handy or use (2) to get out Jinzo. (2) This card can help you get out your jinzo, summoned skull, tyrant dragon, or any other 5 and + star monster. You simply use your free summon to summon a monster, then you pay 500 LP to sacrifice it and tribute summon the next monster. For 7 and 8 starred monsters, you use the free summon to summon your first monster, pay 500 LP for another monster, and then pay another 500 LP in order to sacrifice both monsters and tribute summon. A common argument to this is that UO says only "normal summons" may be done. But the rulebook also states that a tribute summon IS a normal summon, and therefore this is allowed. (3) This card can help you accomplish your theme VERY quickly. For example, if you run a yata deck then you could potentially get out 2 white magical hats for an attack each, and thats two cards gone from your opponents hand. Also, for CC decks, you could potentially get out 2-3 dream/crass clowns and control the board a lot faster. (4) This card can help you make a comeback. See below for a GREAT comeback strategy. I think my favourite combo with this card is the following: Cards required: 3 Nimble Momonga (one in hand, 2 in deck) Ultimate offering Tyrant Dragon. if Ultimate offering is set already, you can do this ine ONE turn. Summon nimble and suicide to get the effect. Activate Ultimate offering to sacrifice your two nimbles and 500 LP to summon tyrant dragon. Thanks for reading my Tip on Ultimate Offering.
