Subject: The Omega Rant of Death-Zakc Sage of Brutality All right. I may be new to Yu-Gi-Oh, but it seems to me that I understand the game even more then some of you 'veterans' posting tips. I've never posted a rant, because I thought it was a waste of time. So, I'll now accumulate all of the information I would have ranted on before, into the Omega Rant of Death!! Muhuhuhuhahahaha!! First of All: Subject: 1 TURN KILL COMBO WITH NO BLUEYES- duelistpro Okay, this tip, IMHO and in all due respect, is lame. First of all: “Let's say on the field is a cyber jar or magician of faith, megamorph, change of heart and any mon with ATK 1800+ level 6 and down in your hand and monster reborn in the graveyard or opponents and any mon with ATK 2500+.” WHAT are the chances of any of that happening on THE FIRST TURN?! I mean, come on! Cyber Jar, Megamorph, Change of Heart/ a lvl. 6 1800+ atk. in hand/Monster Reborn in the graveyard. It’s not impossible, but let me ask you something. All of those cards are vital to winning a game (in most decks) so why would you be holding them until : Monster Reborn is in the graveyard You have all of those vital cards still in your hand (making your hand quite large, I believe) Or you die for not playing down that Change of Heart earlier But, let’s say for some twisted reason, you did keep all of these cards for your combo. Scenario time! I’m playing a game. Let’s say my opponent and I have just been beating each other’s monsters up, and it’s still 8000 apiece (work with meh here! ;P) I have a Cyber Jar down since last turn, and in my hand is Change of Heart, Summoned Skull, Heavy Storm, and Megamorph. My opponent has a Monster Reborn in his graveyard. So, I flip my Cyber Jar. This is where the combo gets shaky. Many things could go wrong: I don’t get Magician of Faith when I flip Cyber Jar (It would probably have already been drawn ages go because this combo relies so heavily on chance) I DO get MoF, but he gets a lot of monsters in defense mode to hold the fort for an attack I only get Magic/Traps which I’ll have to discard next turn (that would make my hand 9 cards) The list goes on and on, bt I don’t want to waste your precious time that could be spent writing me hate mail! ;P But wait, say I DO get MoF! I play it face down, then flip it! Then Wartortle32 bounces a fish off my head for flipping a monster on the same turn Cyber Jar sets it, which is ILLEGAL! Now- A heavy hitting combo- Mark Sage of Ice Okay, while this is a neat, over-looked way to do some serious damage IT IS NOT A COMBO! People say “Org know good combo. Org put Axe of Despair on Summoned Skull. Org Skull get Powerful. Org Skull SMASH things!” Putting an equip card on a monster, or reversing a trap is not a combo. It is a card effect. A Combo would be something that makes weaker cards stronger or turning the tides of battle, by using multiple cards to do it. Well, I have to go to school. I will continue the rant, if I see anymore people doin’ stuffs like that. E-mail me Hate Mail? Nice Mail? Wanna talk? skarmory@cox-internet.com For now, this is Zack, Sage of Brutality, signing out!
