Subject: The Most Overlooked and Underrated Deck Sure you have heard about the pros and cons of the "power deck." Maybe you have read about "burner decks" or "toon decks" well think about this. What if you could make a deck that could counter all of these decks? I have thought up a way to do this. It may seems failry simple, but I assure you once you have a balanced deck like this you will be glad you read this. This deck's goal is to deck out the opponent. To do this you will have more monsters than in other decks so that it will be hard for your opponent to attack. The first step in making this deck is to put in the basics. These cards are the restricted ones (raigeki, dark hole, change of heart, etc.) Next you will want to add in monster cards. I recomend that effect monsters be added before non-effect monsters. Put in hane-hanes, man eater bugs, and wall of illusions first. These cards will keep the opponents monsters off of the playing field. Next add in a few magician of faiths and mask of darknesses to get back magic/traps. After doing that add in THREE nimble momongas. This will replace Dian Keto and allow for a maximum of 3000 life points. Add in a few spear creatins if you wish. They will help get back any good effect or defense monster. Hiro's Shadow Scout is the last effect monster to add. This card works hand in hand with this deck since it makes your opponent draw 3 cards and have them discard 3 magic cards, the most deadly type of card for this deck. Now you should add some magic into your deck. I would put in 2 swords and 2 messengers to make it so your oppentents can't attack. 3 gravekeepers servants work well, although they don't keep your opponent from attacking, they help in decking them out. A combo that can take about 1/4 of their cards is the giant trunade/siro's shadow scout/card destruction combo. It work like this: -play shadow scout down -end turn -play giant trunade -flip scout over -lay down any magic/traps that you want to save -and the best part, use card destruction! During my last duel I decked someone out with this combo. I would advise you always to keep one magic/trap and one monster card slot open at all times so that you can play any card at any time. Now for the final touches. Add in enough defense monsters to make you deck total add up to the maximum you are allowed (depense on who/where) you are playing. These cards include prevent rat, mystical elf, labyrinth wall, etc. After doing this you made add some magic jammers. They really help when your opponent tries to pop a heavy storm/raigeki/dark hole on you. Bam you just flip that over and they realize your skill. Also, I would advise you NEVER attack during a game in which you use this deck. Unless you could take off well over half their life points. By the way, I would say that a minimum of 60% monsters should be used in this deck. You should now have just made the most underrated deck in all of yugioh as of 10/18/02.
