First off, I would like to make a correction on my Top 5 Underrated Cards. I got into it, and made like 16 I think...not sure...anyway, forget about it.

 

Well, I haven't done a rant yet, so I might as well. My rant will be on....err....not sure....umm....decks I guess.

 

Ok, there are a few types of decks out there. This is going to be more of a strategy guide thing than a rant. First off is the ever popular, beatdown deck. I almost run one myself, but my best monster is a Barrel Dragon, Dark Magician, or Summoned Skull. I have 8 sacrifices in my deck (eeeehh) so it's harder to play than a regular deck. But, I have U;timate Offering, a great card for a beatdown, so it makes it easier to pull off.

 

Anyway, for all you beatdown players out there, add some Mystical Elfs and Spirit of the Harp. These should be used against those pesky Messenger of Peace/Jinzo #7 combos. Plus their defence is great for a no-sac card. Giant Soldier of Stone works well there too.

 

Beatdowns rely heavily on attack strength cards, with super awesome attack. Sumnoned skull is a staple in these decks. I would say to add some Barrel Dragons. Awesome effect. Raigeki is another card they rely on. Take out their monsters and attack! But with so many Magic Jammers out, it loses its touch.

 

The best way to sac this deck is with a Messenger of Peace/Jinzo combo. Or, add Axe of Despair to a seemingly useless Rainbow Flower for 1400 damage every turn! Add some Mystical Space Typhoons (a card that should have been restricted to 1!) to get rid of their equips, Swords of Revealing Light (b/c they probably won't have any Magic Jammers), and definately Messenger f Peace.

 

The next deck is Exodia. The only true way to take this down is with Card Destruction, Delinquent Duo, Confiscation, and The Forceful Sentry. White Magical Hat could prove gatal with this deck, along with Robbin' Goblin. So, disruption decks work best. Or you could beat your opponent down before he gets a chance to get the pieces in his hand.

 

Well, now we have my favorite deck, the deck that I can't make, Disruption Deck. This one can be murder on anything. A regular beatdown will be crying like a baby in front of one of these puppies. Well, the trick is to get some cards that make your opponents hand run out. Anyway, as I said before, a beatdown is at this decks mercy. So is Exodia. I would say that your best bet to ounter one of these is to get your cards on the field before your opponent can do anything about it. Go first. lol...another disruption deck works well against this. also, many Magic Jammers, Solumn Judgement, and that is good.

 

Now, we come to a deck I love even more  than Disruptions. I love this because I can make one, and pull it off. Toon deck. Well, everybody thinks this deck is so hard to use. IT ISN'T! Best friend to Toons, Ultimate Offering. Drop them all one turn, and watch your opponents jaw drop the next. Well, the staple her is Toon World. Thebest combo to use is Toon World/Giant Trunade. Toon World isn't dead and you get it back in your hand. Your Toons survive. Megamorph is great in a Toon Deck. You can easily drop below your opponents life points, and blast up to 6000 damage to your opponent. Have another Giant Trunade ready to take back Megamorph so you don't have a 1500 attack BETD. Well, this deck seems easy to counter, but not with Magic Jammer, 7 Tools, and Solemn Judgement. So my best bet against one these is to play some Toons in your side deck. Once they get Toon World out, use Raigeki and slap your own Toons down.

 

Well, this next category describes over 20 decks. The main type/sub type decks. These work great if you have the field power bonus cards. The best way to counter these is, like Toon decks, have your own monsters of that main type or sub type. Easy peasy.

 

Well, thats my guide. It will help you a lot in case you need it. You veterans out there...don't use this if you don't want to. It is just some help.
